Just when I thought it couldnt get worse

I got an RFE for 1864 at the same time I was able to pay for my IV package. I sent them at the same time in August and the 19th of this month is my 60 days. I just got an email today and I was so excited I thought it was going to be a case complete, but no it was another RFE for the 1864 again! Another one  Which means another 60 days  I was at work when I got it, and thank God my mom is my boss! I went and cried for maybe an hour! It means my husband will not be with me for the holidays! I am a complete mess and when I called them they told me its, because on a section there should have been a 1 to count myself for my household! BUT THE COMPUTER PUT IT THERE AUTOMATICALLY! Apparently it didnt print that way and she even told me my total number was correct

I am so depressed! I was counting on an arrival in early december and now it looks like February!

I wish they could use my original and attach it to my new one, between the two of them they are correct

Did this happen to anyone and it take less than 60 days for the RFE to go through?

That's great to see there are some cc for the mid of Sep!

My IV scan date is Aug 21, but our AOS checklist scan date is Oct 2 because we didn't notice we had received AOS checklist for a month haha.. one year has passed since we submitted I-130 in Oct last year. NVC is getting slower and slower..but it's almost ending I hope.

I do hope everyone here has cc very soon and spend a happy christmas with love in America:)!! Plz NVC..

Omg..I feel so sorry... I knew you from Oct 2013 filers board from last year. We submitted I-130 very close.

I thought people could bring the correct I-864 form to the interview if they received second AOS checklists. But no?? I do hope you will get cc soon..

Hey all,

I am currently waiting for review of my AOS and IV docs. AOS scanned date 21st aug, IV scan date 8th Oct. I called NVC yesterday and they confirmed that they will only review the documents together. Very frustrating! I was wondering if anyone knows if you have to wait for cc before going ahead and booking the medical? Or can I go ahead and book it regardless right now? I'm just trying to speed up the process.

Thanks

It's an exciting morning for me - my first call to the NVC to see if our case has been received. Their hold music seems a bit more modern than the USCIS hold music, LOL!

At least at some clinics, they need the interview letter. I do not know about the clinics where you will do the medical. Call them and ask!

 EXPEDITE ACCEPTED!!!

Thank you for your email. We have notified the National Visa Center that we will accept your husband’s case for expedited processing here in Belgrade. My colleagues will be in touch with you once we receive the case from NVC regarding any corrections or missing documentation and to schedule an interview. If you have any further questions, please contact BelgradeIV@state.gov.

Sincerely,

Consular Section

U.S. Embassy Belgrade

So what now? I called NVC just now but the acceptance hasn't entered their system yet. I am so happy and nervous and anxious all at the same time. How long will it take to send out our file from NVC? Has anyone had experience with an expedite at the Belgrade Embassy?! Praise God! :energy:

She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!

So today marks the 61st day since our AOS packet was received at NVC. I was told already that both of our packets will be reviewed together (our IV packet is on day 37 since receipt) but I will call again today to try to find anything out. I just want to know about any checklist as soon as possible. I understand for a case complete we need to wait 60 days from last packet scanned date but find it completely unfair the process was changed midway thru. Wish there was something that could be done.

I would have gladly went and stood online with everyone else at some building for two months or whatever time it takes. Sleeping in a tent eating sandwiches and what not. Physically being in a line waiting like hoards of people do when the new I-####### comes out or people waiting for the stores to open at 135 am on Thanksgiving morning. It would help my inner being so much. I could go on ranting but I will save your ears.

That is BS. So many people in the last week of August and even the first two weeks of September have received Case Completes. If you call again, some other representative will tell you that there is no way they can tell what date they are working on. Basically, do not trust the representatives. I hope you get a CC today.
