I'm thinking the same thing I'm 8/27... have you call today??

No, i have not called yet. I will call hopefully today. Its only 9:12am here. Im at the gym :D what a better way to distract oneself at the gym than reading through vj forums!

Everyone here wishes everyone good wishes. We are all on the same boat. This forum/thread is not only for members to update each other, but rather a support system. People need to vent and let out their emotions somehow. Personally, this is the appropriate platform taking into consideration that we are ALL going through and sharing this immigration journey alike. This is my two cents...

Thanks so much Pitchounette!!!!! How far along are you in the process if you don't mind me asking..

My pleasure...we are here to help each other out :)

I am still stuck at NVC, it's my 3rd month here :

  • AOS scan date Sept 8th (it was originally Sept 5th according to their email...but an NVC Rep told me it was Sept 8th!)
  • IV Package scan date Sept 24th. (Same here it was Sept 23rd and they decided to give me 24th!)

Talked to May yesterday she told me not to expect hearing from them before Nov 24th even if my case landed there before this new process of reviewing both packages at the same time.

At this stage, I am only praying for no checklist nothing more or less and patiently waiting for Nov 24th to come. Otherwise I will be stuck here intil February at least! :( Though seeing a Sept 5th scan date having a CC is giving me hope :)

I'm not blaming no one.. What I said was that it look that NVC skipped last week of August. I'm get happy when other get cc, because I truly know the feeling of waiting this long..AND of course I Thank and congratulate people who already got a cc.

This means that they are working on those and later dates. Also knowing that they are processing dates later than yours gives you a great reason to call and inquire about this, and maybe get them to move on your case quicker.

I feel like you are somehow blaming the person who got processed ahead of you, and I am saying that we should thank them for updating everybody and wish them the best.

Ughh they just happened to skip/jump/miss 8/23-8/29! I am 8/27. InshaAllah (God willing) those of us waiting patiently get CC by end of week. Ameen :D

Congratulations to all who are getting cc but what happened to August I am still waiting scan date is August 28!!!!!!!

This process is unfair from the begining at USCIS...So be patient... even if just easy to say! We will see the light of the end of this tunnel soon i hope

Congrats to all recent CCs and hope the late August scan date will get a cc sooon!! ;)

Hi everybody,

My wife finally got her Taiwan police clearance and was able to email her IV documents on Sunday. I am confused about this scan date terminology. Does it just mean when they receive it? She sent it by email through electronic processing. Will we still get a scan date? How do we know when or if they received it if we haven't gotten any confirmation back after sending the email? thanks in advance.

01-14-14 case received by NVC

02-19-14 case number and IIN# assigned, gave NVC email add.

02-19-14 optin for electronic processing email sent

02-24-14 submitted DS-261

02-25-14 invoiced and paid for I-864

02-27-14 AOS shown as paid

03-10-14 optin email accepted by NVC

03-11-14 DS-261 accepted by NVC

03-12-14 scanned and emailed AOS

Praying and hoping that this is a CC. Currently on hold with NVC right now. Gosh, I can't focus at work right now. :clock:
