So, I'm tired of waiting for my lawyers to respond to the email I sent two weeks ago, which is when they insisted I'd have my case complete and interview date. Checklist scanned 8/29. I called yesterday and no new info, just told to call back after oct 29. So I'd like to look for this elusive N/A instead of just waiting for an email. I assume I have to call at least once more to get my IIN (have my case complete from checklist letter)? Any way for my lawyers to tell I've logged in without asking them?

I don't have a lawyer myself but I wouldn't even worry about them. As far as I understand they work for you. If they are going to find out if you logged on then they should be able to do a lot more for you than it sounds like they are currently doing. Its your case. Just my two cents.

Not sure if that was the question, but from what I see, you need your INN right?! So, you may find on the emails NVC sent to you (welcome letter, Case number, invoice fee, etc).

Hope it was helpful! Good luck with your case

Nvc was not that active today it seems :|

I prefer to think that there's a whole other number of people who are not VJs and are somewhere celebrating their CC today ;)

Bright side is always the best one!

There is no way your lawyer can tell if you logged in and I don't think they would tell him but not sure. But why would you care you paid the lazy SOB and the lawyer is paid to do his job and part of that is respond to e-mails or call and keep you informed and he has not. It's your right to log on, he's not paying you. Screw your lawyer! ;)

By the way if I haven't already, graphics-welcome-010883.gif to the thread. :)

Samreen, yes they lost it! If you look closely at the checklist, you will see it says they needs all parts from my AOS form, according to them I left the whole form blank....or didn't even send it...idk what they are thinking....which of course I did! I filled out the form, left nothing blank, put n/a in the fields that didn't apply to us(cause ppl were getting checklisted for that) and sent in my w2 transcripts. I prepared the same for my co sponsor. Now they say they have everything from my co sponsor but not from me. When I prepared everything the same! Also if I may add , I am very OCD when it comes to our case and check everythinf like 20 times before sealing the envelope! So this AOS checklist makes no sense at all!

Same with me, thank God I kept a hard copy and then my PC crashed and I lost everything but I Had a copy of it in my immigration folder. Everything they said was not checked or typed in was. They blatantly lied to me, it was all there. It's all so very disheartening. :((L) (L)

So sorry for you...did you write your case number on the top right of each paper you've sent?! It's a way to make sure they don't lose it.

I might be wrong, but it really sounds like a false checklist...is there a chance they review the IV package before?? Do you mind to paste here the exactly email so people can try to help.

Good luck, hope you find all your answers soon.

I think it might have been because ppl called and complained.

And that's the most selfish and stupid thing ever. Ppl have been complaining for months that how slow nvc has gotten and if they had taken a step to improve system people started complaining. I'm one of the few unfortunate ones who have been stuck in this process since June 2013 and it makes my blood boil to see people who started April May of this year and are whining and complaining. Well they should be happy then nvc listened to them and went back to their snail pace.
