Just got of the phone with NVC.

the rep confirmed, after our AOS fee changed into N/A past weekend that we have CASE COMPLETE since 10-10-2014 !!!!!!

We are sooooooo happyyyyyy !!

Case complete as of 10/14. Last Scan Date 9/5. All documents were snail mailed to NVC. Thanks to amlighty Allah. Special thanks to Saylin and her wiki, was a huge help.

Soloenta I think now i can start to get excited and say that they have actually sped up I m just scared. I don't want anther checklist. Praying hard for a cc now!

Guys, which scan date should I trust? The one the operator said to me on the phone or the one it's on the 60 days email notification (this one is 2 days earlier than the date the operator gave me)?!

I don't think it really much matters thank God it's only two days difference. I for one don't trust the NVC reps.

Seems like they're speeding up so inshAllah they approve it super duper soon! This week is turning out to be a good one. Guess they just needed a day off to unwind :dance:

I don't know why I did n't see this. I was told CC but Paid never change to N/A, I would ask for a supervisor if they tell anyone you have CC without the change.

My IV packet arrived at the NVC last Monday and it was scanned in by Tuesday.

In other fun news, I did email my Senators last week to see if they could speed up my case because of the NVC errors reviewing my documents. It just so happens that the person to respond to me (from one office) was one of my graduate students who finished my program with a Masters Degree two years ago (I am the director of graduate studies in a university political science program so she was my student). She's going to see if she can speed my case along. Wish me luck!

Thanks Austin. yes, there were couple of individuals who have late August scan dates and made a big deal out of it how unfair it is. They also wrote on hold with NVC and will ask to speak with supervisor.

They never realize that they should let NVC do their work and calm down instead of calling them everyday. I only called NVC three times. Firs time I called for case number, Second time I called them after sending my IV package to figure out my scan dates for AOS package and IV package and third time today when AOS fee changed to N/A to be sure that it is indeed a case complete. Anyways I am sticking with this thread from now on so its all good

I just wanted to let you know that I am also an Aug 29th scan date but I am very happy that you have a CC. I am not bitter at all. I did see those other posts and thought that you would be better off on our thread here. We are all just so supportive of each other.

Of course, I am hoping my CC comes soon though and we can all be back with our families where we belong.

WOW then it should be scanned in God willing I'll call today to ask but last night I was on the phone for so long I had to change phones because it was about to go dead waited about an hour and a half plus. (F) Thank you for your input I really appreciate it.

If the rep said you have a CC then it is highly probable to be true... rejoice. Call again and see if another rep verifies it. Several people received CC without AOS fee changing to N/A, including myself. You won't receive confirmation email until a week after actual CC. There are those who never received that either.

So what do you think:

a) double espressos with red bull on it for each NVC worker

Or

b) they now are receiving commission for the amount of cases they're completing a day/week?

So what do you think:

I don't know, had to call to see if they scanned the things I was requested to send in and the rep told me they (gag) are doing their best to hurry the process but it will take 60 calander days or less to finish the process. Also told me to call Friday to see if they have been put into the system so will have to call and wait another hour and a half plus on the phone. I really don't know what to tell you, I hope they are speeding up but I have no clue.
