ust got off the phone with NVC, so disappointing. The girl said they are reviewing both packages (IV and AOS checklist) together by last scan date, so that means we have to wait another 40 days to see if our IV will be accepted with no checklist, which means my PCC will be out of date by then. So pissed off. Contacting husbands congressman/senator tomorrow!

Your police certificate should be valid for one year (or forever if you don't live in that country).

I'm copying and pasting the below from my interview letter: :star:

Applicants may need to bring an additional police certificate to the interview.

If the following three items are all true, the applicant needs to bring an updated police certificate to the interview:

- He or she is more than 16 years old;

- He or she obtained a police certificate more than one year ago; and

- He or she still lives in the country that issued the police certificate.

For those of us going through stress meaning still at NVC this is for us. I know I had a nervous breakdown when talking to poor Betsy and I want everyone to know the

warning signs. This is NOT an easy thing for me to admit, I'm usually a very strong person one people come to when things are bad, never thought in a million years this was possible. :(

5 Nervous Breakdown.

  1. crying easily, and seemingly endlessly, at the drop of a hat - whether you're male or female! No need to be embarrassed.
  2. feeling guilty for all kinds of reasons: 'not pulling your weight', not being there for someone else, not being your 'normal' self, etc
  3. feeling alone - you're embarrassed and don't want to bother with anyone. You don't even recognize yourself.
  4. feeling joyless - increasingly withdrawing from all the things you would normally enjoy - no wonder with all those symptoms!
  5. being/feeling 'paranoid' - feeling that people are out to get you and single you out for every scrap of negativity.

It is not surprising that often a nervous or mental breakdown goes hand-in-hand with depression.

Therefore I'm going to be straight with you: you're not going to get better by staying in bed, miserable and worried!

A nervous breakdown really means the point of exhaustion reached after a prolonged period of anxiety. The overwhelming anxiety, depression, and stress leads to a sense of overwhelm, helplessness, and utter exhaustion; a feeling of not being able to deal with life. depressed.gif

So if anyone feels this way, I think this thread helps lot also it says to do thing with family and friends if possible.

I have four of the five, so far not #2, so if you feel any of these they say you need to take action to relive these feelings. One says to get out of the house which is a great idea if you can do that. Walk on the grass barefoot sounds a little ridiculous to me but if it works why not. :)You don't have to have all of these symptoms to have or be close to a nervous breakdown. It's a horrible feeling I pray I never have again.

Solenta I am so sorry to hear you are going thru this. I also had a nervous break down the middle of August this year do to the issues with this immigration process and issues with my youngest son. I can tell you that I have been using lavender oil when I start to get the panicky feeling and it does help a bit. after being on a few new medicines and listening to my husband to take care of my self and to not stress so much I am now starting to feel more like myself. I have been off of work for almost 2 months dealing with this so I know how hard it is. if u ever need anyone to vent to you can always message me. I am finally looking forward to going back to work in a week and a half. God bless you I hope the Betsy will be able to get you the answers and get this taken care of and expedited for you.

Thank you dear :) . It will be a dream come true to have all of my loved ones in one continent ! Ugh that's another reason why I want a CC already to get over with the dreaded goodbyes ... Like you said bittersweet

I don't even like my family taking me to the Airport when I know I'm coming back soon. I don't even want to imagine. Just keep telling yourself they will be with you soon. :)

Anyone with pets here? I'm planning to take my baby but it's a long flight like 13 hours :( I was wondering if anyone has experience with traveling with pets

I came back to the USA with the two Egyptian Maus we adopted and it was a 22 hour flight with lay over. If you can buy a seat for the little one, one way flight shouldn't be to bad. They told me my cats would get water etc but they didn't give them any. If I were to do it again I Would make sure i had enough money to have a seat for them. :D. But they made it fine just needed water right away. . :)

Just checking in..Soloenta it might be late to tell you, but I agree with everyone whose advice is to wait until Friday. Just a couple days and if you still need to send anything, you overnight it. ;)

In the other thread there was 2 CC today, the most recent 8/18, sooo...let's wait.

Hubby and I are accepting the fact we'll have to wait until the latest scan date to have the packages revised. One more month and by the Love of God we'll be out of it.

For now I'm keeping myself busy with work and family, and husband is enjoying my absence to surf more than usual - lol

Hope you're all in a good state of mind and keep the faith in your own Gods to pass through it.

Sending love, prayers and warm thoughs to all of you!!!!

No never to late and thank you and yes I'm going to wait until Friday morning even the Rep Candy who was very sweet and nice no pun intended ;) told me to wait until

Friday and to call if she hasn't contacted me by then. God willing what I have ready to go is all they supposedly need. It's all one big lie and I wish I could expose them and find justice in this mess. But we shall see. :)

Hahahaa well good your husband is Surfing great sport and keeps him busy and happy. :D Will be praying NVC will get quicker as the seconds tick. :)

Warm and loving thoughts heading your way to. Well, let's see I'm Catholic and my husband is Muslim so we do believe in the same God. :D Allah is God but in Arabic for those reading that might not know. You would be surprised how many people think that they do not believe in the same God we do and Muslim's love the virgin Mary since she is their most important prophets mother that being our Jesus. :) Just some information for those that don't know it's always good to learn something new. At least I love to . (L) (L)

Please help dear friends, what do I do, I have everything ready to send NVC but the supervisor said to wait until she can check if what they are asking is all that is needed

Octavio not sure if I can believe him or not said what I have ready to send is what they need. What do I do? Send or wait? Thank you in advance it's 1:56 pm her now I need to do this soon or just wait.

Hi sweetie

I think I would wait a couple of days. You never know they might review it and decide they do have what they need. I am so hesitant to give advice because NVC change their minds so how do we know what they are thinking or might decide.

I just wish there was somebody higher up the chain that could sort out this mess. Let's wait and see what happens in the next couple of days, just until the end of this week.

Lots of love

Hi all

Not around much for next four days. Son swimming at the State Championships here in Australia. He took Gold this morning in the 200m Butterfly. Shame Dad wasn't here to see it!

NVC seems to have slowed up a bit mid week. Come on guys lets get August wrapped up.

I am reading everything and am, of course, disgusted in what they are doing to our friend Soloenta.

Xx

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww it's not enough hahahaaa it's green you have to add a green bug holing an umbrella! Yuk hahaa

Love new info!! Thanks Soloenta, it's quite interesting. But still, we have so many different countries and beliefs here, and despite I believe that all the prayers go to the same One, I don't want to offender anyone and that's why I address as "owns Gods" ;) but thanks for the new piece of info!

You're such a strong person, even with your breakdowns your ready for the next battle and you should be proud of this quality of yours. :) I don't have words to describe how much I pray and hope your case get resolved faster!! More than once a day I catch myself thinking how things are going for you. Keep strong, soon it will be over.

:)))))

Hi Soloenta, am glad you are keeping it together sweetie. Yes I agree with everyone wait till friday, and then mail. Also make sure you call boxer' s office to make sure they receive your letter, and written consent form. it goes to the director, and then you case is given to a case work, goes and find out what the help is going on. This nightmare will be a distant memory very soon. Take good care of yourself please. Remember you have friends on this blog pulling for you.

I HATE THIS MESS

At home crying my pillows put! I work my butt of with two expedite in a row and now our case is at the embassy! My so called husband barely calls me and when I call him, the only thing he wants to know is how the paper going, did I check on it - barely care to ask how am I doing. I am broken! Sometimes, I get the feeling that I may be being used but I love him so much, I can't bare the thought of it.

Am so sorry sweetie for what you are going thru. Please sweetheart kindly remove that thought from your mind, you are not been used. Your hubby loves you so much and all he wants is for the process to get done and be with you. Everyone is tired of the paparazzi of this entire process. Hang in there, it will soon be over. It is well with you sweetie.

Great news about your son taking out the gold!!! That is awesome! Did he get the time he needed to qualify? I bet he is close! Such a shame Dad couldn't see, but he will have plenty of year ahead to see him in the Olympics by the sound of it. Will he swim for USA or AUS, that is the question….?
