I just put my case # in the subject line.

Thanks a lot.

There's no specific format. But with Lagos you better have a good reason. Most embassies you just ask bit the better the need the more they may comply. I have seen them change it.

But you must have in SUBJECT LINE: LGSXXXXXXXXXXXX, BENEFICIARIES FULL NAME DATE OF BIRTH, REQUESTING EARLIER INTERVIEW DATE

Than a brief reason why you need a earlier date.

Thanks.

I took my medical exam today. :star: I was at the doctor's office for over 2 hours! :wow:

My left arm hurts since I got two shots (flu vaccine and blood test). :bonk:

I'm going back to the doctor's office tomorrow to pick up my medical results.

I did mine on Wednesday, my left arm still hurt though. Will be picking my result next week Tuesday.

My case shows as "in transit" on the CEAC website. Also, I requested the physician in my city to schedule a medical three days back and he has scheduled me for Monday, October 20. I am leaving for another city for a wedding and will ask whether I can have my medical on Saturday or after I am back from the wedding. Meanwhile, I took DT and flu shot from my primary physician. Something went wrong and my arm was in excruciating pain and couldn't raise it. I am now on a painkiller. Another thing is, of the two shots, the flu shot was way more expensive than what the US physician is charging.

Mine is still at NVC too, and my interview is Nov 3. I am sure the case will be there in time, but my hopes of getting an earlier interview date are vanishing. My husband (who has only seen our kids for a 3 week holiday in the last 7 months) is still hopeful I'll be able to request for one slightly earlier. And my 2 year old asks and cries for daddy multiple times per day. This on top of the uncertainty and not booking travel are starting to get to me! I keep telling myself we are nearly there, we are nearly there, just hold on.

I just realized that it could take up to 2 weeks to reach Montreal if Canada Customs held your package (but it usually takes 1 day via Express).

I noticed your interview is in 2 weeks from next Monday.

You may want to call NVC and talk to a supervisor to see if they can send your package to Montreal ASAP.

I'm not too concerned about mine since my interview is more than 3 weeks away.

Hey has anyone getting medical had to do the Hep A and B? Go back for the second round?

Not sure if this has been answered already because we've spent 3 days in a hotel waiting for a medical (the doctor called in sick, but we already traveled and booked into a hotel so decided to stay) so I haven't been able to read though the entire thread yet.

Once we did get to see the doctor it was very smooth. Took about 30 minutes, mostly just the doctor filling out forms. Then went to another room to get vaccinated, another 10 minutes of nurse filling out forms, and then we walked out with a sealed envelope.

Got a Hep B vaccine. The doctor said only one is required for interview purposes. The other two shots you can take with your local doctor, or not take them at all, it doesn't matter as far as immigration is concerned.

Four pictures are required as of October 1, even though it still says 1 on the embassy website. There are four forms the doctor fills out, and glues a picture to each one of them.

Flu vaccine, although listed as required, turns out it's only required for people in the high risk group, so children and elderly, so we didn't need to get it (this is for Warsaw).
