Was going to go to bed I have a migraine and I just had to check here. I spoke to Octavio and he said that he talked to Sylvia and she said she will call me then told him she had called me. I told Octavio, NO SHE DID NOT call me I've been home all day long, not even my brother has called. So she blatantly lied to Octavio and I told him I have an answering machine actually part of the phone system and he asked are you sure hahaha. So I told him listen Octavio I DO NOT WANT THIS WOMEN to have anything to do with our case I want you and only you to fix this. I asked him doesn't getting a false check list mean my AOS is fine and approved, I have received two since 8/10 and he seemed to be confused he said well I have to check the files I said doesn't Sylvia have them he didn't know what to say. I said so that means I have lost all hope of maybe getting an interview date because of all this and he said no I'm working very hard on this and I will call you tomorrow. OMG SOMEONE PLEASE SHOOT ME AND PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY! t23126.gif I'm going to lay down see if I can get rid of this migraine. Prayers being said Ellinora no worries there my friend. :) God be with you both.

What a nightmare! I am so sorry. Hang in there. One day this will all be over.

Btw.. everytime i make a call to NVC.. i use MAGICJACK app.. and i called them for free. this app can call any mobile also landline number in US & Canada for free as long as you want. I guess I saved a lot of money since i called them almost hundreds time since my case stay at NVC. :D

I've heard Skype is cheap.. but so far no one can beat MAGICJACK yet.. it's totally free! :)

You have called NVC hundreds of times!? :wow: We found our caller here since everyone on this thread hates calling NVC!

Could you please call NVC twice a day (until we have our interview dates) to see if they have begun scheduling interviews?:rofl::rofl:

Hi everybody!!! I am so happy! My 2 kids called me to let me know that they were APPROVED!!! No documents were requested. The interview went very smooth. Their mom (my ex) was with them at the interview. They asked her if she was their biological mother, and if I was her husband. She said that I am not her husband. They asked her if she was sure, she said YES. I am her ex-husband and biological father of the kids. And then, the officer told her that the kids are approved. The weird thing is that they took her fingerprints too. She was surprised.

The kids are so happy that finally they can come to the USA!!!! :dancing: Wish the rest of you guys lot of luck and blessings.

I'm thrilled to see you'll be reunited with your kids very soon. Kudos to your Ex for so balancing her kids' future with her maternal urges.

As for her fingerprinting, if the kids are under 14, it might simply be a matter of digitally signing for their DS-260 forms. That would be the case if the fingerprinting was performed by the CO instead of at the preliminary window.

thanks for responding, I was in AP for about 2 weeks and today the status changed back to ready, is it a good sign ?

If you were told you were approved at the end of the interview and they kept your passport, then Issued should appear soon.

 not literally hundreds of times tho ( just like when people say "wait a second or wait a minute" doesn't mean 1 second or 1 minutes right? ) but A LOT.. especially when i have to wait mostly more than 1 hour before i got in touch with NVC rep. I'm using my ipad wifi only to call them... so no need to stick to my ears for long period of time when using MAGICJACK. Btw .. this App not just offering free calls to US & Canada from anywhere in the world.. also the App is free! yay!! :D :D

Hubby was able to track down and pick up his medical results yesterday. They couldn't/wouldn't offer any explanation what the delay was other than to say "we were waiting on something". Glad hubby was persistent and able to drive to the clinic because I don't thing the results would have arrived by post if posted today.

Thank goodness! Now, I think we have everything in order for his interview on Tuesday!

Sending lots of positive vibes for NVC to start scheduling some interviews for those waiting!!! I can't believe they haven't schedule any for 3 weeks! I hope all of the CCs that just missed the cut-off get early Nov dates!

Hey there, we both have the interviews on the same day. Hope you are ready with all the documents required. I am printing some of our wedding and the trip photos. Have few chat logs of viber & Skype. Hope our interviews go smoothly. :) :) :)

I was checking the status of my kids visas on the ceac.state.gov. One of them, with the date of the interview as October 1st shows Ready, the other one shows Issued. Is it possible to have one visa ready and the other one not yet? Both were approved at the same time (10 and 8 years old)... I was wondering if I should book their flight or not yet!

Congrats! I'm so happy for you since you have been waiting since March, 2013!

Your case may be the longest (maybe Soloenta's?) case I've ever seen, but it's almost near the end! :star:

Thanks, I thought you already had your interview scheduled. Turns out after all the waiting for getting a case complete there is another long wait to get an interview. Actually, we sent our I-130 in February, just got the PD in March. I don't know of anyone waiting longer than me in the NVC or interview threads.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

11/07/2014: Interview.

11/29/2014: POE JFK.

Well, I've been waiting for my interview date since Sept 16th.

Well, that's okay! :) It's better than the alternative of getting a checklist of waiting for another 60 days!

Don't worry about me having to wait! My wait is nothing compared to how long you've been waiting.

My wait is just another inconvenience, but your wait is pretty much a crime committed by USCIS and NVC folks.

That's why I'm so happy that you got a CC and are on the Interview thread! :star:

Oh man, if there's something I truly hate, it's being lied to, and USCIS/NVC seems to do that quite a bit. Wish they would just get their shat together and give you that darn cc/interview date!

I'm still in AP t23126.gif
