Hi everyone! I filed i-751 with my wife last year. We had our interview january 2014 with no decision. I called uscis and spoke with level 2 twice already but all they can say is case is still pending. So i went to infopass to get a stamp since my extension letter is about to expire in november. According to the officer who stamped my passport, case is still pending. Now, me and my wife are talking about divorce. It's sad but that's how life is. Anyway, anybody has a similar situation? If my i-751 is approved, then there's no problem even if we divorce..but, what if divorce is not final yet and i-751 is denied? And what if divorce is final already and i-751 is denied? Thank you in advance!

Sad to hear you are going through this. I would think in your case hiring an attorney would be your best bet since there is a possibility of your case getting denied for whatever reason(s). Its more complex of a situation you are in than many folks here so thats why I advise you to hire a good immigration attorney.
