So I applied for k1...my fiancé is from Croatia, and I am in Oregon.

Uscis Lockbox received my papers on 3rd of September, and on 8th they sent me a text message, that the noa1 was sent out.

Funny thing is I have been stressing, and finally told my fiancé I will let it go, and see where it takes us. After all its all out of my hands. I did best I could to provide all neccessery paperwork and sent even more then I needed too.

Last night I had a dream, that I received NOA2 and was in shock how can it be so fast. This morning I got a text message saying that we got the alien registration number changed on September 10th.

What could this mean. I truly hope that we can get the Noa2 as soon as possible.

Does anyone have any idea on which applications are they working on right now?

Any Croatians here to tell their stories, of how long they waited. I know once it goes to Zagreb it will be a peace of cake, I guess this is the hardest part to wait between noa1 and 2.

Please please pray that this is some good news.

They change the Alien Registration Number (ARN) when they put your petition into the system. :)

You're still in for a few months wait... so sit back and relax... you can get restless again after about 5-6 months. :P

Everyone with a case for immigration gets an A#. It will be yours life (although no longer needed if you become a USC), like an SSN.
