I check my visa status in ceac.state.gov it says No Status. My interview is on Sept. 17 it should be ready. What should I do?Do I need to cancel my interview date?Please help.

No. Non Immigrant visa. Sorry a bit confused

I see. It should be "Immigrant visa" because it will be processed by the IV unit of the embassy. :)

Related issue, when I select immigrant visa and supply the case number starting with AA it says.

Invalid Immigrant Visa Case Number.

The DS-160 was electronically signed on Aug. 29, 14.

Second thing, my application ID starts with AA and not MTL

07/27/17 - K1 packet sent at the end of day.

07/31/17 - NOA1

03/22/18 - NOA2

08/28/18 - expected date for medical completion - Sputum test was needed

09/22/18 - anticipated interview date

Is the AA number the case number you got from NVC? My DS-160 confirmation number also starts with AA (I have it saved) but that's not the number you check your status on CEAC with. You need your case number assigned to you by NVC.

Agreed with Perdita. The Immigrant visa case number asked for in the ceac site is the case number assigned by NVC. For those going through the Islamabad consulate, it typically starts with ISL.

It varies by consulate. Hopefully, somebody who went through Islamabad would chime in. Or perhaps, you can contact your embassy on how to go about in scheduling the embassy interview.

I just used the google search engine here in VJ and it seems the embassy emails you packet 3 and can provide you with the interview date also via email or phone. Hopefully someone who has gone through this consulate will share their experience.

I asked 'Bandaria' question about e-appointment letter, his K-1 was approved yesterday from Islamabad. Hopefully he will have this information.
