Delay after interview

Interview was on September 2nd and it went very well. There were a number of questions but all were extremely easy for a coule that knows one another very well. It lasted about 20 minutes after which the CO offered congratulations and said to watch for the visa in 3-5 business days. Well...after six business days, there is no sign of the passports with visas and the ustraveldocs.com website says the embassy still has them. I see a lot of references to "Administrative Processing". Is that from the same website? A different one? We are a bit annoyed by this because we specifically planned this timeing to get her daughter into school..

As info, we had a similar problem getting the Passport many moons ago. When my wife was born, the Dr was hammered (surprise) and the date he wrote on the Birth Cert was different than what was filed at the Oblast Registry by 1 day. No one noticed it (including me) until after the Interview. So the Embassy had to go back to the State Dept, ICE etc. to see if an Iryna Maidenname ever had a Visa over stay, K-1 filed before etc. Took an additional 3 days to get word back. I was there and we had to change plane flights 3 times, rent an apt 3 additional days and way to much time over thinking what the delay was etc. so we went to the Embassy (afterr calling twice) to see what was the delay, they explained the birthday issue, got Passports that night, left the following AM.
