This is so everyone can sort of have some sort of a list to go off of for the interview, if its missing anything Please comment so that everyone knows!

Okay so I have put it in a 2 inch 3 ring binder with clear insert pages, this is to make it easier for the Interviewer to find the documents they need. I've also heard Manila folder is very useful too, but this feels far more organized to me. again leave a comment if you or anyone you know had any issues using this setup!!!

This is in the order requested by the Consulate in Montreal.

Cover Page (lists applicant and beneficiary name & title of book, the same is on the cover)

Table of contents (I really like organization :P it was also recommended by several people on here!)

Beneficiary Passport biopic page

Ticket with # (don't have, will receive at embassy, also Idk how big it is so it just gets its own page in the book)

CSC interview details (not sure if this is necessary but I added it, not all embassies do scheduling online so keep this in mind)

Medical examination (not complete but again it has its place in the book)

Vaccination Records

2 passport size photos

DS-160 confirmation page

Packet 3 checklist (copy)

DS-230 (Copy)

DS-156 (Copy)

DS-156K (Copy)

Birth certificate copy (Me)

Proof of domicile in USA (Rent papers with my mother)

Copy of my I-129F visa application

Copy of Various Important documents (Drivers license [me], short form birth certificate [Him], Social Security [me])

Proof of Petitioner status in the States (photocopy of Passport biopic & birth certificate)

Evidence:
Proof of Joint Checking account

Proof of Joint internet bill (until we moved)

Mother's Affidavit of the legitimacy of our relationship

Proof of going to Meet my fiance (passport stamps, I didn't think to keep my boarding passes)

Proof of my reason for being in Canada with him for a little while (Study permit Canada)

All of Our rental agreements (one apartment, and one Room together!)

Messages from WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY back at the beginning (L) on IMVU (I kept them cuz they were cute!)

a Few pages of Facebook posts

Scans of a card I sent him for Valentines day 2 years ago (L)

Skype Messages (fairly new because my computer with all the records died  )

Photos (engagement shoot, valentines day gifts & meals, birthday together & new years together)

Our NOA2

So any recommendations on other documents or evidence I should include?

Someone can correct if I am wrong, but I needed my long form birth certificate for all interactions with immigration including the interview at the Consulate. I am 99% sure that short form birth certificate will not suffice.

That is my understanding too. I had to order mine. I think it needs to show your parents names and place of birth which is not on the short one.

Also, I believe the following forms are no longer used and were replaced by the DS160

I'm not sending any of this stuff, this is the stuff I'm taking to the interview. We decided we'd take a copy for them to keep and the original.

nope we have to get the long form birth certificate but I figured I'd include the short form one too

Don't need:

I dont know everything I read said we needed to sign all these at the interview, we sent some in with the packet 3 but you know I'm always worried they'll lose it so I'm bringing copies of everything I already gave them.

Well, I suppose it doesn't hurt to have the forms. If you find out, you should post again on here. I used the following link plus my Packet 3 and neither said to have these forms

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/types/family/fiance-k-1.html#6

I know they used to be required though. I had read on here that they are not used anymore.

I agree that bringing more is better than too much. I plan to have everything I have submitted plus the documents asked for in packet 3.

Good luck on the interview!
