I got my interview date and is on 16th of october.I want to re-sechedule the date,my question is do i contact to re-sechedule first before the medicals or after the medicals??

That's your choice to do. I would assume you are going to ask for an earlier date. I personally would get the medical done and email them and say you have completed your medical and would like to have an earlier date. Either way you will be done with medical.

They emailed me the interview letter at 1:20AM est? Lol

Anyhow, I have some questions...

"Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of
Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal
income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview."
So i just give my wife whatever, we sent in for with AOS? Doesn't make sense as nothing will be different. I feel like this is a generic statement.
They also want photocopies of all the civil documents...I assume they are the: "birth cert, police cert, marriage cert"?

your financial evidence and police report seems differentvfrom mine. I think ubshould provide your Aos docs at the interview , which is ur checklist. And I dont know what they require for the police report. If they give " o" means they have your originals. Anyone who can help us pls. Thanks

if you already sent in your original documents, you only have to bring one copy of the original documents. if you provide photo copy to NVC, then you have to bring one original along with a photo copy to the interview. I think that's what they want.

I'm going to ask my husband to bring

- original copy and photo copy of police report, marriage certificate, passport, passport photo (6) just in case they need more. birth certificate

- original copy and photo copy of affidavit of support form I864 and tax transcripts

- Form I-130 package which I sent to USCIS (photo copy only)

- all the evident of our relationship

I think that's all? anyone suggest anything else we should bring?

this is just generic statement, cause some filed extension on 4/15 which extends to 10/15, so the embassy asks to bring the updated form 1040 for 2013....

if you didn't file extension then it doesn't apply to you...

also for civil, that's what you sent to NVC... birth, police, marriage, passport and visa photo

I know exactly how you feel. We have watched people who petitioned months, even a year, after us get approved while we waited. Hope you get your interview date soon!

I hope you get yours very soon as well! Shortly after i posted that, I became extremely eager while looking at the spreadsheet and called NVC. Just found out that our interview is scheduled for October 16th at 8am!!!! She did confirm that the email has not been sent out yet. I can't believe this process is almost over.

Which is the embassy you will be interviewing at? You have Iranian flag up but Malaysia on your timeline.

You have to know when NVC mails out. I have told folk here to wait until friday eveing and call NVC and ask has your petition been mailed out. If so about Monday you can start tracking. It won;t be until end of next week you will see results and the case file at embassy.

Hi DWheels,

My wife is the beneficiary; she is from Iran and we are living in Malaysia with Malaysia residency as I am working here, so her interview will be here in Malaysia.

Thanks for the info on the embassy tracking; we will definitely call NVC back again on Monday to try to get the status on the tracking of the shipment to Malaysia.

Have no idea. I know every airport is different but I believe long as you two stay together they will allow you to stay together. Chicago is pretty cool POE. I know my friend was allowed to go back there to immigration when her step-kids came.

Thanks a lot for the reply. We'll have our 6 month old daughter with us and I really didn't want to separate from my wife while she waits.
