Samreen, you might be on to something. I did notice many checklist responses that got reviewed in half the time compared to other submissions. It might be the checklist cover sheet that did the trick.

Please, everyone who got their checklist responses reviewed lately, report to us days to review and coversheet used. A sample of 10 or so responses should suffice to test this hypothesis.

MoBar65, I suspect you're pulling some Austin Canada detective work with that theory. :) :) :) Only checklists filed by attorneys and scanned at NVC during a week end by someone working over time get quick reviews. Austin, I'm only joking! :) :) :)

Seriously though, I'm guessing most checklists responses are sent with a checklist cover sheet. It looks like the vast majority of them are taking a full review cycle (30 business days and now more) to get picked up and looked at.

But if you're still take a poll: I sent mine with the checklist coversheet and addressed to "ATTN: DR" as requested.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

Stranger things happened... I once had a laser printer that worked flawlessly except around 10:00 every morning. Around that time it would give totally washed out printouts. It took me weeks to realize that the morning sun washes over it about that time just at the right angle.

For obtaining Police certificate for immigration visa purposes in India, a letter of embassy or NVC is required by Passport office. How to get it. Or can we use AOS or IV fee receipt as a demand letter.

easy. just go to passport office nearby and request for one. if they already did a recent police query, they should give you immediately, otherwise they will ask for a police query to the police stattion, then issue the police verification certificate (PCC)

September may not be my month for CC. The documnets as per check list should be delivered on 9/4/14 and so I think I should expect by first week of October, God Willing.
