Thank you! I tried my luck today, how many days usually do they reply to expedite requests?

You´re welcome! I sent mine in on Aug 19 and received a response from NVC on August 29 that they had forwarded the request to my local embassy. I´m hoping to have a response this week, but we´ll see what happens. Other people on VJ received a response faster than I did (8 days I think). Good luck!

Geezzzzzzzzzzzzz we keep getting letters in mail about changing address and IV over and over again. I'm always amazed at how efficient they are. :D No worries they are just torturing you before they give you what you want.  They miss us when we're gone. ;)

Hi VJ friends. Just checking in to say hello! I hope this week the NVC gets through some more dates and gets everyone closer to the magical CC!

I got my CC email yesterday, almost exactly a week since case complete. Then I got it again today. ha ha. NVC and their crazy automated emails. I was so excited to get another email today thinking it was an interview date, but no such luck. I can't say that I will ever get tired of reading that I have a case complete so they can send it to me every day if they like.

Well, I hope you are all hanging in there and I love coming back over to this thread to keep posted on everyone's progress! I will keep my eye out for msc13, AustinCanada, Soloenta, EOC4ever, Stackeria, dilemma, nicholemariev and I am sure i am forgetting many more! (sounds like I am accepting an academy award)

AWWWWWWWWWW am so happy for you Amanda and thanks for hanging around for us. Please keep calling them to get your interview date. I pray you get an interview date as soon as possible because you so much deserve it.

I would love some advice, lovely people. Right now hubster and I are pondering two courses of action in regards to our AOS package. Just as a reminder, we are both living together in Australia and we received the i-864 and i-864a as well as tax returns and all that jazz from my husband's parents but there are some errors and it needs to be done again. So our options are:

1. Ask them to send the forms corrected again to us in Australia. The fastest possible way is Fedex but this, according to their site, is like $180! Not sure we want to ask them to do that. They could send it USPS again but that was a disaster and took a full 9 business days to get to us and I'm dying just thinking of that interminable wait again just to send the goshdarn package!

2. Put all our stuff together with CLEAR instructions as to what needs to happen with it, then send it to PIL in New Hampshire, have them add their stuff and then send it on to NVC for us. Our issue with this is that we are both control freaks and we would be more comfy with our hands being the last hands to touch the package so we can check that it's right. But this might be silly and us being overprotective.

What would you do, NVCers?

I live abroad with my husband and we personally chose option 2. I sent everything to my mom in California, and she added my parent´s docs and sent everything along to NVC. They don´t care where the documents are shipped from. Just to be sure, we skyped the night before she mailed the package and showed me one by one the documents and the page order. If you look at my timeline, you´ll see I got checklisted, but that has nothing to do with my mom sending the package. Good luck!

I'm not sure but sometimes due to high volume of calls they stop receiving calls at that time. Try calling them now, since they just opened up an hour n half ago.

Thanks romii

Really - You think they got tired of our calls already so they decided to close early!!! I think if they work 4 weekends for real - I mean put and train all their phone staff to review files and put everyone to work for those particular weekends! They would save themselves the hiring cost that comes with recruitment and get some files out of the way! In addition starting Sep 12 - combine AOS and IV fees so the only receive one package which saves time for everyone and allow people to submit checklist electronically and have a certain amount of people just on checklist and give them a quota of performance per day or they are fired!!! IS IT REALLY THAT HARD?

Thanks Godalone

Trying to understand this 60 days thing.. When case gets completed I read that people wait up to a week to get e-mail confirmation about cc. How long it takes for the interview to be scheduled after cc? 60 days as well?

It varies by country. Please read the first post ;)

I get that it varies by country, but I'm wandering is 60 days delay affecting that time as well (i.e. if for specific country used to take 30 days for interview, did it change to 60 days due to the extra delay they added)?

For address change after NOA2, is it conveyed over the phone to NVC when giving them our emails or is it done by a letter in the mail?
