Why US judge? If Aplicant was married in Ukraine, so Devorce Certificate must be from Registration Civil Acts Department, XXX City Registration Service Management Division of Justice. (Ministerstvo Usticii, Viddil derzhavnoi reestracii aktiv civil'nogo stanu).

No, the applicant was previously married in the US, hence a divorce decree from a US judge.

My timeline for NVC processing:

May 4, 2014 Submitted DS261

May 7, 2014 Paid AOS fee

May 12, 2014 Received an email confirming that my DS261 (agent registration) form has been processed

May 15, 2014 Paid IV fee

Last scan date: July 22, 2014 NVC received my IV and AOS packages (mailed together), date confirmed in the email on Aug 5, which also told me that it will take at least 60 days to process

July 25, 2014: Submitted DS260

August 6, 2014 Requested an expedite

August 8, 2014 Got an email from NVCExpedite asking for two phone numbers

August 8, 2014 Responded with two phone numbers

August 15, 2014 Received an email from NVCExpedite which states: "The US Embassy or Consulate is willing to expedite this case once we have all the fees, forms, and documents. We received documents for your case. Please allow 60 days for us to review your documents."

August 15, 2014 Called NVC, the rep told my husband that while the Embassy has agreed to expedite my case, NVC will still take at least 60 days. The reason that NVC cannot do it any faster is because they cannot sort through all the mail to locate my case.

September 16, 2014 Got a checklist for a divorce decree, the original of which I submitted. They said it needs to have a stamp, even though it was issued by a US judge, whose office confirmed that their original decrees do not have stamps. [/background][/size][/font][/color]

September 29, 2014 Mailed a copy of the decree with a certification and stamp attached to it. The judge's office in Lancaster county, Nebraska, said that this is how they certify their documents. They still do not put stamps on originals or copies themselves.

October 2, 2014 Checklist scan date

October 17, 2014 AOS fee changed from "paid" to N/A

October 20, 2014 Case complete confirmed by calling NVC.

Hi everyone, Husband and I are filing from Ireland.

IV was scanned in 19th August, (we got checklisted on AOS) We sent it back and scanned in on September 15th.

So, we are waiting for the IV & AOS checklist to be reviewed :) Anyone know the chances of them possibly being reviewed together? Thanks.

Got a checklist for AOS :(

They said we did not fill in our part 13 a 1 correctly. It asks for 2013 gross income. We filled in the total income as on the transcript. We filed an I864 with a I864A.

I'm very sure we filled it correctly and I'm shocked at the checklist!

Please suggest what I should do!

This depends on which tax form did you file return for ? 1040 or 1040EZ

1040 : Total Income

1040 EZ : Adjusted Gross Income

There was over 70 pages to catch up. Doesn't exactly take two minutes to read all of that :P And since it was an early morning flight on Sunday, I didn't get many pages read. And then a busy day at work yesterday. But, finally, all caught up now!

Thanks! Vacation was great!!! Despite getting a sunburn in many places, blisters on the back of both my heels, and my legs are dead from 7 days straight of 12 hours walking around.

Oh, yes, was going to mention in my last post: I'll try to update the spreadsheet tonight. I've gotten 86 requests between the two spreadsheets, so, uh, it may take me awhile :rofl:

Alright just making sure. Don't want another checklist :clock: just don't know why Nvc have us a checklist for that qs as well when it was fine before as well, only difference being I ask him to write 'n/a' in the qs where it asks if u r married. This time we put '0' instead.

I had checked with NVC and if you are filing for your spouse then you have included her in line1 you can leave the second line which says 16(B) if you are married blank..

Did you get checklisted for something else on 1864EZ along with this...I have not seen people get checklisted specifically for this

Haha, nooo, had a horrible first day back yesterday with a phone shift in the afternoon with so many stuck trucks and issues :bonk: Although, just found out I hit 1000 hours at work today, which means benefit time!! (And apparently the health insurance is provided for FREE, so this girl is very excited, considering I've been without insurance for a couple of years!)

Oh my, yes, I'm definitely happy. Those 70 pages would have been double if it hadn't split off before hand!

And I forgot to mention also: thanks to everyone who answered questions correctly while I was gone ;) My little minions :D

I did indeed! It cost a lot (added it all up yesterday: $2345), but it was soooo worth it. I miss living in Florida even more now :lol:

I have a question regarding filing i864. In part 6 question numbers 13 a to 13 c, what should we fill in? Total income or adjusted gross income?
