hi dears.. i have some problem in my checklist

i got my interview on oct 27,, and i they send a cheklist as well mentioned that you should correct it and bring it to interview..

my problem is in i-864 part 6, 13.a.1,,,,,,,,,,

In Part 6. Sponsor's Income and Employment, please correct the following...

[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal

income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

it means that your total income doesn't match the income reported on most recent federal income tax return.. my brother in law mentioned the income he earned in abroad as well in this part.. so the gov is not deducting tax from the income earned abroad.. my joint sponsor sent the letter along with I-864 mentioned all these things.. bt i don't know why they don't consider the income earned abroad as income.. my joint sponsor was in military abroad so he should include all his income from there too.. i don't know what to do it is my 2nd checklist for same thing... i hope it will not create hurdle for me during interview....... :(

I don't know the answer to your question, but I've read that if you are in doubt, leave that field blank and take it to the interview, the CO will help you fill it.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.

Question how do you know when you AOs or iv packet is approved did you saw that online or did you call?

To know for sure, one can call. Also, false checklist is sent whenever a package is approved, but not everyone gets false checklists.

Thanks dilmera,

I know we are all going through the same thing here, but it is extra frustrating when I've been married to my US wife for 12 years, usually visit twice a year and spend at least 6 weeks there, have a clean background check and will be retiring with a good pension. I don't know what's going on, I'm just a good honest man that wants to be with my wife and her family.

It will all be over soon, hang in there. Probably they don't have a protocol to send in a checklist asking for all corrections at once. This should be brought to the notice of AILA so they can inform NVC. Perhaps you can call a supervisor and complain about it?

Call NVC I think your case is complete Congratulations

Well guys just an update this is the 4th day since I sent my email with corrections on my checklist and they still cant see it in their system. No scan date yet?? I was thinking of giving it a couple more days. What do you guys think?

I had read that with EP, they can't tell you if they got your email or not. If you have been told before about receipt of your emails, try calling after a couple more days.

Just checked ceac site and aos fee changed from PAID to N/A :-O what does that mean???? Is that case complete???

USCIS sent me an email saying they shipped it on 8/29/14 (NOA2 8/18/14 I was at NSC).

NVC still has not received my case (so they say). {sigh} . . . . we just have to keep waiting. :clock: Once they "receive" the case (meaning they put it in their system), I think it's taking 2 weeks for them to assign a case # but some members have waited a month or more to get a case number. NVC told me that it takes up to 5 weeks from NOA2 date for them to receive a case from USCIS. Just fyi....although I have seen some members who have a "received date" way before the 5 weeks are up. Just keep praying they scan it in soon and assign a case # quickly! :rolleyes:

Recently, someone had a case number assigned in 9 days after NVC received their case.

pls could someone help me im confused.i hav already paid my aos and iv fees and submitted ds261 and ds 260 online forms bt i cant send my iv pakage coz of my passport pcc delay and cant send aos pakage coz my wife lives with me in foreign country(india) since one and half years.after 5 months i got cheklist for my iv supporting documents and aos pakage.but the address is different on my earlier payment portal bar coded sheet and now which i got in ckeklist nvc case number cover sheet

Hello everyone, I sent my both IV and AOS package together on 27th August. I called NVC to get confirmed. They told me that our package has been received on 29th August. But i didn't get any hard copy of that. I have attorney with my case. So do i need to call NVC for hard copy or it is normal if i don't get any hard copy. Plus how do i know whether they are completed with my case or not. Thank you in advance.

You will not get any hard copy from NVC about when they receive your packages, but many people are getting "60 days to review documents" letter and it mentions a received date of your documents.

 

 

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.

Hey everyone,

I just realized that on my AOS, on part 6,13a I put my joint sponsors 2013 total income but I left 13b and 13c blank which is for second most recent and third most recent tax years. do u think I will get a checklist for that or am I fine?

I think you will get a checklist for it, you should have put the second and third most recent years' incomes, although one member got lucky and got away with it. If you have realized you will get a checklist for leaving that blank, you can send in a corrected form with AOS barcode sheet.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I've read that if you are in doubt, leave that field blank and take it to the interview, the CO will help you fill it.

The total income is always your total icome line #22 if you filed 1040, not the adjusted gross income from 1040. For 1040ez, the income is adjusted gross income

pls could someone help me im confused.i hav already paid my aos and iv fees and submitted ds261 and ds 260 online forms bt i cant send my iv pakage coz of my passport pcc delay and cant send aos pakage coz my wife lives with me in foreign country(india) since one and half years.after 5 months i got cheklist for my iv supporting documents and aos pakage.but the address is different on my earlier payment portal bar coded sheet and now which i got in ckeklist nvc case number cover sheet

Hi, you can use any barcode sheet, it doesn't matter. They will send your documents to the appropriate review department. When sending IV documents, we get Attn: CMR on barcode sheet and checklists are sent to Attn: DR.
