:rofl::rofl: What is a wiki? o.O

[...]

This is why I like you :jest:

See attached imagines, it was a 3 page email. I just blurred out my personal info.

Oooo, very interesting. Bookmarked. Might use it in the future when I update the wiki (if you don't mind, I'll credit you!).

Looks like they're going to want documents in a certain order

We could start a pool on how long it takes for a mod to move it to the NVC forum.

Technically, I can move it as an organizer

Hello my dear vj'ers

For those of you wondering about how long it is taking IV invoice to show after you receive the email to to pay the bill. so my DS 261 was reviewed sep 5th, and i received the email today the sept 10th. at 4:40pm and the bill was ready to pay at 7:00pm. so it can be immediate or it may take a day or two.

Best of luck to all, and congrats to all CC.

I just got another email telling me I paid my AOS fee but this one includes a document cover sheet. It lists everything needed for AOS package and supporting documents (IV package)

Did everyone get this?

Seems like a sheet telling us to send everything together or is this an email everything got before as well?

Hi ,

Just want to ask, have they billed you for the IV fee as well? Have you already paid for the IV fee too when you received this email?

Thanks.

Surprising cause the cover sheet they sent you includes items for both the AOS and the IV required docs.

The email you received with the cover sheet is really interesting.. hmm..

Hi,

I noticed on the cover sheet under Financial Documents that it asks for IRS transcripts (which I have) and Federal Income Taxes and W2 (I was planning to send in only the IRS transcripts). Do I check N/A for Federal Income Taxes/W2?

As for Proof of Relationship, not sure what type of proof I can send. Can you guide me? My husband appears on the Tax transcripts with me since he has an ITIN # (to file taxes jointly).

Proof of U.S. status? I sent in a copy of my passport to USCIS to show I am a USC. Do I need to send this to them for the AOS as well?

I'm not at this stage of the process yet, just trying to plan ahead. Thanks!

I think as they move fully into the new process, this email will be sent after both fees are invoiced and paid. My AOS fees were invoiced way before this change (which is still underway it seems) took into affect

Hi,

I noticed on the cover sheet under Financial Documents that it asks for IRS transcripts (which I have) and Federal Income Taxes and W2 (I was planning to send in only the IRS transcripts so the package would be smaller and Saylin's WiKi says they prefer it). Do I check N/A for Federal Income Taxes/W2?

As for Proof of Relationship, not sure what type of proof I can send. Can you guide me? My husband appears on the Tax transcripts with me since he has an ITIN # (to file taxes jointly).

Actually this is the first time I saw this document. I will still follow Saylins wiki on what needs to be sent. And I think putting NA might be the right thing to do.

I would call and ask NVC....oh wait they might contradict themselves a few thousand times... :ranting:

Remember, not EVERYTHING is required for each person. For tax information, it's either tax transcripts OR 1040s, W2s, schedules, worksheets, etc. So, if you're sending in tax transcripts, then yes, check off N/A for the tax returns and W2s.

Proof of relationship and proof of US status isn't what you're thinking. It's for specific circumstances. It's written in my wiki, but you can also read this page, right from NVC's website: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Step_4_Collect_Financial_Documents.html (click on the 'Obtain Financial Evidence' to see everything listed).

Proof of U.S. Status just seems weird to me. . . . since we clearly already established our U.S. Status LOL.....unless they are referring to domicile . . . . which the transcripts will prove along with an employment letter as proof of evidence & domicile all in one. I think that's what they may be referring to.

I re-read your cover sheet and we can put N/A for Federal Income Tax returns/W2 since they are not needed if you are providing IRS Tax Transcripts.

As for Proof of Relationship, I hope the transcripts will suffice because I cannot think of anything else for this AOS package.

Thanks for attaching the cover sheet, it helps to be able to prepare ahead of time.

I was just trying to wonder if we will experience the same as we are just recent filers.

Our AOS fee just became available to be paid today. We'll check if we will get the same email after paying.

This likely is a transition from the old to the new process as the docs are required to be submitted in one go with the new process.

I'll share my experience with everyone as we go through this new process.

Thanks.

It's really good to see some movement from the NVC this week. However when I look at the latest spreedsheet case completes for this month, including the couple of CC that I have seen on this thread that are not on the spreadsheet yet, progress is still way down from the may and june numbers at this time.May had 22 CC, June had 19 CC, and July had 15 CC by the 10th of each month. We have three showing on the spreedsheet and I know of a couple of more to bring the total to five or six on the tenth. I'm glad there is some movement but we are miles away from the numbers of the three prior months. I want to see a lot more movement.
