how to attach pictures to I-129F packet

It's amazing how many people do things differently. I think printing your 4 X 6 photos on plain paper leaving enough room to add a description with Names, Date, Time, Place is probably adequate. Personally I was a basket case doing this packet making sure everything was perfect. So much advice from lots of people. Our documents were organized exactly as suggested in both VJ website and USCIS requirements. We put everything together with ACCO clips. Our photos were labeled on the back placed in plastic laminate pouches (that could be 2 hole punched) for including in the packet. Addtionally we placed labels with the same information on the front of the pouches. Each trip was clearly separated with documents and photos in the same section. We created cover letter with an index and those sticky tabs on the bottom of separation pages (trying to simulate the index of an exhibit used by attorneys) to identify the placement of documents and evidence so everything could be found quickly.We had no RFEs and the CO at the embassy said that they were 1,000% sure of our relationship. No problems at all. I guess it helps to have 8 years of evidence for a relationship.

I ask because the pictures are like 4"x6" and I have about 20 or should we add more or less ?

do we attach the pics to a 8x11 paper ? and also write on the paper where the pic was taken from ? or which one is preferred ?

2. Color Photo's of you and your fiance(e) together. Make sure you write your names, date, and location on the back of every photo. Provide two to five photo's. If you only have a single copy of the photo, then make a color copy and send that. If it is a digital photo, have it printed at a local photo store such as Walgreens (if at all possible) or if not on a high quality printer. Place photo's in a plastic bag or photo sheet and label the sheet. Note that you may not receive originals of photo's back.

I put each document in a plastic sheet protector and the pictures in plastic sleeve protector as AdreaGris described. Each document was as described in the cover letter like a book with table of contents.

Do you have the pictures on your computer? I reorganized them 2 pictures per letter size sheet of paper, so underneath each one I can put the date and place of the picture.

Microsoft Word does that very nicely.

Lol. Seemed like it. We also sent. (as recommended by a good friend that works for a very old respected law firm in our city) a complete duplicate copy of everything with a special note attached as duplicate copy. I wasn't taking a chance that someone would find it overwhelming to copy everything if that was necessary. Our packet was about 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick. basically laying things out so that the information was easy to read and chronological. Of course supplying evidence of meeting in the last 2 years first and then working backwards. It seemed to have worked.

I simply printed my pictures on 8.5 x 11 pages via laser printer,

and hand wrote where, when, who...sort of information on each picture.

cool thanks.. I thought they wanted like real photos.. but printing them on a document makes it alot easier for me...as I have access to a color printer at work

I did that and everything was accepted without any problems.

I brought all my pictures into a Word document. Then I typed the description (who, where and when) under each picture. Then I re-sized them in the Word document so I could fit 4-6 on a page.

Then I printed them out, added them to my packet, sent it off and everything was eventually approved.

I simply copied all the pics in a word document and typed the descriptions right under the pictures on the same pages.

I think it's the best way - pages can be easily binded and one doesn't need to flip them over to read the explanation. When you write something on the back of a picture, I believe one may oversee that information.

All my pictures were arranged in photo-stories with detailed and emotional content.

I didn't put any emotional content under my pictures. Just the facts! The names of the people in the pictures, where the picture was taken (usually just the name of the city), and the date of the pictures.

I'm not saying that to say you did it wrong Sekhvaruli, but just to show that they'll accept a wide variety of ways.

Yes of course. I know they don't care about your emotions. It was simply a pleasure for me to do it that way.

I even decorated our pink (!) binder with golden letters for our names and dozens of heart-shaped beeds I know, that's silly... But I can't help sharing my feelings,

letting everybody know that what's happening to me now has never happened before. It's simply a miracle!

I printed mine out in groups on 8x11 paper, so there would be 4 pics per page.

just used a color laser printer and printed on normal paper. no need for wasting photo paper.
