File I-765 with CR1 - Visiting Under Visa Waiver Program & Working?

Hello,

Is it possible to file an I-765 so I may work while visiting (under Visa Waiver Program) & waiting for a CR1 visa to be granted?

My fiance is a Canadian who naturalized and we're planning to get married in 2015. I am a Canadian, residing in Canada.

We are looking at the process for a CR1 visa & read that I can visit him while the CR1 paperwork is processing if the CBP officer grants approval at the point of entry.

I understand there are parts of the process, like the interview at a consulate abroad, which require me to return to Canada. We're just trying to use our time productively.

Thank you.

Nope.

Also, Canada is not a part of the Visa Waiver Program.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Interesting. No.

Is there an option to get married now and file CR-1. That way you will have immigrant visa in 2015 and can start working as soon as you're processed at POE with your immigrant visa.

ROC 2009
Naturalization 2010

Thank you very both for the replies, and thank you Harpa Timsah for the correction on the VWP. Unfortunately, I can't edit my post to cross that out.

We're set on having the ceremony (with marriage certificate signing) in 2015, because we want all our family & friends present for the whole event. If we got married now, that experience & celebration would not feel the same to us. This is why we haven't inquired about K-1 visa in that forum.

Are there any other options we may not be aware of so I could legally reside in the US as soon as possible?
