We were put in AP because my fiancee didnt know about some of my past yet, she never received a 221, they just said they would let her know. That was June 16th. They did keep her passport which is a good sign. So after 70 days the Ceac site said "ready" ive heard it will stay this while....then go back to "ap" the usually after ap again it will say issued. what are the chances it will be denied after first saying ready? would it just say denied before it ever got to "ready" thanks all....

You should not make any guesses based on the fact that is said "ready." That makes no difference on your chances of being denied.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Mine went from "Ready" to "AP" to "Ready" then a couple hours later "AP" then "Issued"

It also changed from an IV to a NIV and the case creation date changed right before it was issued.

Not sure if that helps any. I would definitely wait to do anything until it's in her hands and the packet is pristine. :P
