Immigrating to the US to live in border town but USC still works in Canada

I'm the USC, petitioning for my wife and two kids (all Canadian citizens) to immigrate tot the states. I'm at the NVC stage now but haven't received much correspondence from them other than the initial request to pay the ds261(?) fee.

Quick question:

If we immigrate to the US, move to a border town (in our case, Blaine, Wa), register kids for school there, but I continue workin in Canada, will that cause concern for either the interview or At PoE?

Background:

I hold dual citizenship, born in US, but lived my whole life in Canada. At the time of starting the petitioning process last year, I was actively looking for work in the US. I even interviewed for several positions but ended up taking a position here in town tht I could not pass up. Our plan is to establish PR in US and hopefully citizenship if all goes well. But for the next few years it is likely tht I will continue to work in Canada while we complete this immigration process.

Will this be cause for concern?

I searched the forums to see if others have had the experience. Closest thread I could find was this one:

Any other input?

Thanks!

There are many that Green card holders that work in Canada, But LIVE in the USA! Canada/USA share a tax treaty, so one should not get double taxed!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

You should not have an issue, even with the I-864 (provided you earn enough) because the work will continue after moving.
