Expedited Requests 2014

Are their any filers out there that know anything about making a request for expedited processing due to humanitarian reasons?

They have a list of reasons why they would expedite the case and I'm sure you would need to provide some hard core proofs. It's extremely hard to get an approval for that.

Ok. I found an update on the US CBS website earlier that stated they allowed expedited requests right because of the Ebola outbreak so I wondered if it's worth my time to at least make the request. Would it hurt my case to request it?

All Phillipines cases are being expedited due to the typhoon. I think regardless of which one, they're just getting those cases done.

Is the outbreak in your area? I think they'll want some kind of proof for it.

I'm not sure expediting for this reason would work. They'd for sure want to know the beneficiary hasn't been exposed.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

My husband looked at it earlier ND I read it wrong. Apparently it is those that are here in the US already I guess. I feel bad I'm making my husband a wreck. I've been so emotional today. It has helped being able to chat with u. I would like it very much if we could chat more. I just need someone to talk to that understands what I'm going through. I guess I should have known that was too good to be true anyway.

The expedite due to ebola only pertains to those beneficiaries in the US at time of filing. They will surely not expedite because you are in an effected area,

But you can always try with convincing evidence.

Someone sent an email to Lagos Consulate asking if their case can be expedited because of this ebola outbreak, the consulate said ebola outbreak is not a valid reason for expedite.

sorry about asking you on this thread, i'm not sure whether to start a new one or allowed to ask here.. how do you request an expedite? I'm from the Philippines too, and ever since Ondoy I am very much traumatized because I lived within the area where it caused havoc. I know it's been years but having a typhoon now or even some kind of medium to heavy rain gets on my nerves.. would it be possible to have my husband request for an expedite?

to OP, I have been reading about Ebola outbreaks and the current one that happened in Texas.. I wish you luck on your endeavor regarding expedite.. but I think right now they are being more cautious about it..
