I-134 forms sent to embassy

I posted here last week to find out if anybody had experience of sending the I-134 form directly to the embassy, some of you had not heard of this so I emailed the embassy and I have just received an email to say that it is acceptable for I-134 to be sent directly to the embassy. Lets hope they receive it.

Sounds like a risky venture to me. If it takes them 1-2 months to send the beneficiary packet 3, I don't see how they'd be responsible enough to get one piece of paper down in the mail room, and somehow get it in the same place as your application.

I'd rather have it in my fiance's hands and let him be responsible for it.
