Urgent need neld! checklist Letter Response?

im a bit confused here i received today an envelope of containing three mails..and it says im missing documents for visa application which is the 0F 230-I. What other documents should i submit they did not say what are those other documents. Please someone help me now. Should i submit my other documents such as birth certificate,marriage nbi, and police clearance together with the barcode attachment? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HELP ME!

hi boo! we had the same reaction as i received that checklist letter response, you're gonna received it once your DS-230 has been delayed..i mean you haven't received it yet. I just ignore it..until now have my copy of it.. but i just keep it. anywho, i have submitted all the required docs wid the DS-230 forms part I & II.

but to be sure..u can call NVC..and i did also before but they said ignore it and the application is on its way..

PS. when you receive your DS-230 packet..there's a separate barcode sheet attachment as a frontpage when submitting all the required docs.

hi louiejane.. so meaning to say.. i cant send in my papers and documents not until i have my packet from them? Is their form different from the downloadable forms in the website? i have all my papers and documents ready..And in checklist there is one barcode sheet included. Is it possible to send the prepared ds-230 and other documents which i rely on the link for the application of visa? And if not how long do you think i will get my packet after the checklist response?..waiting for your reply.. Thank you and Goodluck!

HI! I am waiting now for my interview date, what my husband did, since he was my choice of agent, was that he waited for the packet to be generated by the NVC and he sent it right away. So you need not wait for it to arrive at your address, what you need is for the packet to be generated and you will know this by calling the NVC. This will save you days or even weeks. Just remember to complete the documents and forms. Good luck.

Hello. Just ignore that packet. I received 2 packet (1/18/07) from NVC on the same date.

1 packet is ds230 (dated 1/16/07) and the other packet was the letter saying that i'm missing documents (which is ds230 - dated 1/10/07). The reason was they received I-864 already. Usually they received ds230 first then they will ask for I-864. Keep your documents for now and wait for ds230 packet. Just make sure your nbi and police clearance were for travel abroad purposes. hmmmm really interesting huh?! Im also got confused with that 230-I? was that from US embassy here in the philippines? I got packet 3 already on 01.26.07 it's 2 pages. and on the 2nd page there's a checklist of documents should i bring on interview. Im just wondering if would received same latter as yours?!

hi annei i think what you are referring to is the pre interview notice that is for k3 you need to bring those written in the second page.. i got that one too last week...Hmmmm but if it is checklist it means that you gonna receive your ds-230 soon and that is for I-130 or CR-1. Good luck!
