I remember the 5 month mark being a low point for us too. Hang in there and don't even bother looking at progress any where other than where your petition is.

You should have a little loop in your head that fires up just before you click on a topic that says - is reading this thread likely to be of use to me or could it just increase my frustration.

Your day will come - plan what you'll do to celebrate when it does.

It took me 9 long months and i saw people getting approved a lot faster then me. It's annoying but just remember how annoying the waiting is. it's only a small part of your life together.

Nah. I plan on getting through in a week or two. :)

I would be totally happy with the part in your post I bolded. At least it would be short for others. I applaud TSC's efforts if they make that happen, & it won't make me feel worse than I already do about stuff.

I honestly used to be annoyed by it too. But some time ago, I stopped caring. Now I just ignore the threads & have learned to accept the fact that it is what it is.

Same for me, we'll get there eventually, so might as well grab a beer and chill.

Dont compare your case to others and as Ive said before......129F approval is only step #1......our 129F was approved last year in 63 days.....that was Oct 31, 2013 but we are STILL waiting for visa issuance due to other problems that came up.

Be careful what you wish for.....you never know what its like being in someone else's shoes.

There are people who have completed the ENTIRE 129F process in 3 months, and others than take over a year. Being at the year mark, despite a fast 129F should give you some perspective.

When running a marathon its best to look at each mile one at a time.....so I understand focusing on 129F approval as its the first step...but its far from guaranteed that a fast 129F = faster visa.

Good luck, hope your 129F approved soon, AND get your actual VISA soon.....
