ds 160 k1 visa can we fill it out early?

For the K1 do we need the case number and invoice number along w the receipt number from uscis? Also can I start it here in the US w him on the phone then he signs it there electronically

Yes you need case number and uscis number.

To fil out the ds-160 you need his passport , his cedula( natinal id).

There is one part in the form where you are going to put all the information at the bio-page in the passport also the cedula number.

If you have that you can star to fill out the form, remember that you can save the form only for 30 days, if you dont print it in 30 days you need start another one.

Ds-160 can be fill out once you know the case number, but it isnt necesary fill our early.

I filed out mine 15 days before interview.

You need fil out the form carefully, he on the phone I dont know if that works because that can give both you stress. If you are going to be here one week before interview you can help him to fill out here, ds-160 can be fill out days before interview , there isnt a timeline for it.

But us there a specific spot for case number and invoice I'd for the K1? I'm hearing mixed things and am so confused. He won't fill it out until he gets the letter or email from the embassy because he doesn't want to make mistakes but he is gathering all the other docs in the interim. Except police certificate and medical.

How does the embassy alert of citations? Email or that giant listing?

Thankfully I'm flying there soon so I can complete the ds 160 w him. He already got the 2x2 pics too.

Yes there is one space where you put the case number and in another line you put uscis number.

Embasdy send the letter by mail, but sometimes letter doesnt arrive on time. So one month before interview you e-mail the consulate and they will e-mail the letter , he print it and with that he can make the medical and pay at banco popular.

The petitioner get the same letter almost all the time petitioner get the letter before beneficiary.

Once you know your case number from nvc, you can ee-mail the consulate at santo domingo and ask for your interview date, knowing the interview date , if you see that your fiance hasnt received the letter , e-mail them one month before interview.

For medical exam he needs 3 pictures and for consulate 2.
