I just got an email from CIS with last update date of my K-3 case 01/20/2007 (Saturday?) .

The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

Any body has any idea after this how much time do you think it will take for approval or else otherwise?

Thanks,

Hello,

I filed my wifes I-129F form and I got receipt Nov. 24, 2006. I started checking the online status and saw that the case was transfered to CSC for "faster processing". CSC recieved the case Dec. 9, 2006 and there was an update each day, or touch, during the time the case was being sent to CSC. Since it was received there has been no update. I hope there is an answer soon but the cases seem to get sent from one black hole to another.

/Rad

The transfer to the CSC is normal. Our I-129 went to Chicago, then Missouri, and is now being processed in California. We have a similar timeline as well. To estimate when yours will be approved you can compare timelines of others who recently had I-129's processed at the CSC. You can also look HERE at the estimated processing times for the service centers. Keep in mind those estimates go up and down though. CSC was down to 82 days a little while ago and up to 110 days just a few days ago. It's at 98 days now.

Well Data Sheet,

Grab a chair and relax for it may take quite sometime before you hear anything especially from CSC.

I got a letter indicating that our I129F will take about 60 to 180 days to get approved. One thing is for sure, it will be close

to a miracle to get your I129F approved under 60 days after they receive.

In other words - give yourself a mental break; kick back and relax... :D

Enjoy the ride.... easier said - but again try....
