The US Embassy in London has moved our interview date up to September 9 (from September 29). While this comes as a surprise, it's a relief that this will be all done sooner, rather than later.

The full timeline is:

- 26 August: Received email indicating request granted and new interview date of 9 September at 8am

We hope everyone else continues to have good interview and POE experiences. Will keep everyone updated on how everything goes.

How did you find out they had shipped the docs to the embassies/consulates? Did you call the NVC? I believe the interviews are scheduled by the NVC based on the available appointments sent to them by the Embassies/Consulates.

Hi Guys, I have a question. I want to pay the immigration fee in the elis online system after our visa is approved!

1. Should we enter the new name (married name)? So far NVC/US Embassy has used my wife unmarried name during interview commnication which is what appears on her passport.

2. The DOS case number is one digit long to fit in Elis online system..what should I do? Basically it is "01" added to NVC case number but there is no way to enter the last 1 in the online field. Did anyone else had the same problem?

Not sure about the name. You do not include the 01 digits from the DOS # as per the instructions in this page http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis/immigrant-fee-payment-tips-finding-your-number-and-dos-case-id

Congratulations !!! Hope we will get interview date very soon.

Congrats :D

Congratulations. I have added you to the spreadsheet. Welcome to the group. Scheduling for October should start hopefully tomorrow or Thursday.

Thank you guys...I really hope that we will get the interview date very soon. When I called NVC on last Tuesday and asked what are the chances of getting an interview date any soon, the rep's response was..that they are done scheduling for the month of August and told me to expect an email for interview date on the 1-2 week of September..now I can't wait until this month is over
