Great news for both of us after the long wait. Just got mine as well.

I'm trying to test a theory, so could you please tell me when did your AOS fee changed from PAID to N/A?

I didn't have to do an Affidavit of Support for the NVC because I was derivative beneficiary (I am the spouse) for an employment based petition. Mine has always said NA.

I am curious what I will be asked to bring to the interview? Obviously the Birth Certificate, Police Check, passport, passport photos, marriage certificate, and medical. I will bring originals and copies because I did electronic processing.

I was thinking of bringing an Affidavit of Support just in case the interviewer wanted one but it probably isn't necessary. I have no idea what kind of questions they will ask me because my visa is employment based but it is my wife's employment not mine. I guess I might need some of her forms?

I might need to bring proof of domicle and a copy of my wife's green card. When I get the letter I will know better. Is an electricity bill in my wife's name enough with our home's address enough proof of domicle?

I am just thinking out loud because I am not sure what to expect at this point. My situation seems to be pretty unique.

I did consider once a follow-to-join for my wife, but there are virtually no useful info on the web of actual interview experiences. It's actually horrific to have to go back to NVC for such cases.

Anyway, I'll try and look for another subject to test my little theory on.

Yep way late and we were hoping early Sept too. We're going to request an early slot after we get the email. I would like to know if they scheduled yours yet and when it is. I am so burnt out on this. Sorry guys but i think i'm depressed, no joy in my life anymore.

you can still try to ask them if they can switch to an early interview like mid September or end of September. I think there is a risk for early September cause they still need time to send you package 4 and/or package 3 and you still need time for the medical.

Mine is scheduled on 10/7. I guess cause my cc was right after the last round of September scheduling. That's why I got early October.

Good luck. I don't think you have to wait for the email. As soon as it is scheduled, you can contact the embassy. I did on 8/20, but they said they haven't received my case and had to wait for first schedule to try to reschedule.

My husband has his interview scheduled for 09/11. Last week he went to his medical appointment and the xray found that he had scarring on his lung so now he has to do a speutum test for tb which will take 6 weeks to get the results. Does anyone know what he can expect to happen at the interview? Will they delay making a decision until they get the results? We've been told that it is very very unlikely that it will be tb.

Thank you my dear lady for the sentiment. How are your reunion plans going? I remember you mentioning exit issues for your husband that need to be squared away.

You are most welcome!! :)

The exiting approval will not be known until he leaves the West Bank and travels to Jordan. It is then, when he will be given permission to leave or not. My husand said if he is not allowed to leave, he will call me right away. I hope all goes well. He will travel through the Israeli checkpoint on the 17th of September.

He said, once in Amman, he will sell his phone and then head to buy presents. :D. Then, to the hotel for some rest. The next day, on to the airport. So, bc he will not have his phone, I will not hear from him for the day. I hope nothing goes wrong.

It will be about one year since we have seen each other. I was going to travel there in March, but I got laid off from work and that put a huge damper on our plans. Once I got another suitable job, , we focused on just getting him here.

On POE day I will update. :).
