But the problem was with the database used for issuing visas. Since we are not eligible for visas yet, how does this affect us?

All I-130's should just be sent straight to the NVC, that would solve this whole problem. USCIS is worthless and involving them in the process only serves to slow it down. The NVC could hire double the number of people with all the I-130 money and could get the work done in half the time.

They are probably referring to whichever docs you sent in most recently. They could also be referring to your DS-261 if it is about the time that they should be reviewing that. A few people have gotten the 60 day email right before CC as well.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Anyone here has scanned IV package around 5-7th of July?

They told me mine was scanned in on the 9th, however when I got the 60 day letter it said it was received on the 7th... so I'm in that ballpark.

Anyone else still waiting for review of docs (esp checklists) scanned 20 June or earlier? I feel like mine has somehow slipped through the cracks as I see they are working on 25th June.

I just feel like I get screwed at every step of the way, why do I always get in the slow line?

Is it true it's darkest right before the dawn? I feel like I have tried to stay positive as much as possible and I have exercised patience, but now I am just getting :ranting:

Tensions are high at home and I feel like my hubby will say one day soon "enough is enough, we are staying here in Australia". My family would be devastated, I almost wish we hadn't told them we are coming :cry:

Well, Max was immune to my positivity and charm and told me that they do not share any information about employment and procedures so he couldn't tell me if they are working overtime. I asked if he thought that the process would speed up at all and again he said that they are told that the 60 day window applies.

Max sounds like a model employee. Ahhh well, I was no help at all!!!

FOLKS,

I got the following email, saying 60day review period for AOS, I paid and sent out AOS on Jul 28th and also submitted ds-260 same day Jul 28th. I called those DRONES at NVC to ask if each step in the process will take 60days, here is what DRONE said: ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA INTERMS OF TIMELINE?

60 Calendar Days for AOS ::::: So looking at end of Sept before any reply, god forbid any checklist delay

30 BUSINESS Days for DS260 :::::: Looking like its going to be Sept 5th

60 Calendar Days for IV :::::: Dec/Jan for god sake this is tooo loooong
