Thank you :)

I was really happy when we found out the AOS was accepted, because it seemed like NVC was doing everything possible to find a reason to checklist people for it! I was also a little unsure of what I was doing when I calculated my husband's current annual income. He's paid hourly and does all sorts of different hours, so I literally averaged out the last six months' paychecks then multiplied that figure by 26, and explained that's what I did in the covering letter.

I'm sorry if you've posted it before, but what was the reason you were checklisted? I hope it wasn't because of this nonsensical "N/A" issue :(

it was N/A issue....but not on I864, it was on I864A.... :oops::crying::crying: :crying: :crying::crying:

I only worked one year cause just graduated in 2012, the income was over poverty line, but I wanted to make sure it was enough, so I added my parents and filled out I864A for them... and both got checklist....

Maybe if I didn't fill out 864A, it would be accepted already....never know..can't go back..:cry:

Has anyone had to submit an apostille to each original document included in the IV packet? All my original docs are in Bulgarian, translated into English and certified, and the interview will be in Bulgaria. There will be no documents issued in a third country. I can't find any requirement, from NVC or Embassy specific, asking for an apostille, but word on the wire is that such is needed, or IV packet will be checklisted. Any one heard of this?

So I got my second case closed letter today...... is that normal? Not that I really care, but is it normal? The email I received was an exact carbon copy of the one I received yesterday.

I just got a duplicate of my IV invoice email. I think they're having IT issues :P

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 28th 2016: Package delivered

October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Submitted my DS-261 on June 5th and finally got the IV invoice today!! Such a long drag! But I'm happy it actually came.

I still can't pay the fee online though but I'm assuming it'll be available in a day or two.

Yes, if you're over the poverty line now and can prove it with paychecks/employer letter, you wouldn't have needed your parents to chip in unless NVC or your embassy specifically asked for that for some reason.

Did you fill out an I-864A for both of them? I thought if you're using the sponsorship of a couple who filed Married Filing Jointly, one person does the I-864 and the other spouse does the I-864A so that both incomes can be used as one.

Either way, since your income is enough, maybe you could ask NVC to remove your parents' paperwork from the pack and just use yours?
