I learned a lot working for OFA (Obama's campaign) in 2012, GOTV (Get Out the Vote) is really important. The Republicans are pretty much guaranteed to keep the House, it's the Senate that's up for grabs. Help the Republicans win the Senate and you'll be helping to ruin the last 2 years of His Majesty's Presidency.

Well, to feel like I was doing something towards this visa, I finally added myself to the new spreadsheet. But I have a question: what if your consulate is actually Armenia?

It's pretty obvious if it's not Armenia when they have another country listed on their profile So, if I ever see Armenia listed as the country on the profile page, I might say that's a good chance that person is actually from there. But, now that you mention it, I'm not sure if I've ever truly seen someone from Armenia!

I wonder how they picked and chose certain cases with the petitioner living abroad to be auto-expedited because I am NOT one of the ones that was picked. Hmmmm....

Man no kidding! What I wouldn't give to know the answer to that. If there was an actually line, black and white, it would be so much easier to deal with. You send it in, you wait your turn, you get your chance, done. I feel like a fish in a barrel.

No worries, I can see why you'd ask the question! It's certainly a valid one. Let's be honest, any question about this mess of a process is a valid one. As far as I know, I was the first person on the forum to experience this second wave of what have been called auto expedites. They started up again in April of this year. No idea why they started it up again. My guess is that it was meant to be a permanent change, but with the backlog they stopped, and once the backlog died down they started up again. I initially spent a lot of time and energy trying to publicize that thread and get everyone abroad who got a quick approval to post their details there, but don't have the time to anymore.

Also a Republican House and Senate will never let an amnesty with citizenship pass, so the illegals will never be able to become citizens, and the Republicans will be more likely to pass something beneficial to legal as well as illegal immigrants.

It's really annoying just received an e-mail from NVC with a Check List. I called, nice guy didn't catch his name since I was nervous and rarely call. I asked him what's this, he said we have your IV documents, DUH, they are in review. I asked, you mean they scanned them or they are actually being looked at, he said being looked at. I said I thought if I received a false check list it's because they were accepted, he said no. Me confused but happy they are looking at them, hope they aren't just looking at the folder sitting on their desk. Many ways of interpreting things.

So I just wrote to nvcinquiry@state.gov to change our embassy process back to Bogotá and got an automated response! I've never gotten an automated response from them before, but I haven't sent an e-mail to them since May when we did the first embassy change. Here is the e-mail for anyone who is interested:

Dear Sir/Madam:

I got exact same email from NVC after the day I was told my AOS was reviewed and accepted. Did you ask about the status of your AOS?

Thank God you explained the meaning of scanned to him.

Me and my husband, we are always thankful and greatful to Saylin for this thread and her wonderful contributions. My husband does not visit this site but I always tell him all the details about this forum and I also sent him a print out of Saylin's NVC wiki so he can read it every time. Thank you Saylin.

Hey everyone!

I will confess I am really embarrassed! We got super super super lucky! My case is closed and they are passing me onto the consulate in London however we still need to submit a new AOS document. Can some of you help me with this? We got the following:

Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal

income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

I know Saijin (I think is her username) has put this on the site:

Use the correct numbers on the I-864/I-864EZ for past year's incomes. As it states RIGHT IN THE QUESTION, if you filed a 1040 (or 1040A), then use total income, and if you filed a 1040EZ, then use adjusted gross income. If you filed jointly, then make sure you use the combined income (since it doesn't separate the incomes) and then submit W2s to show individual income.

Can somebody explain it in a bit more detail for me? So I can try and help my princess sort this out together. Tonight I celebrate so hard but tomorrow we have to look at this in detail, as I need this document right for my interview.

We Called NVC to ask if its ok to send IV Documents before paying IV bill using Aos barcode... She Said Yes but if your document will lost its not our fault ... so decided to wait than to send again another original.... since DS-260 review in 30 business day no need to rush.... Invoice please...

ANY ONE GOT IV INVOICE???
