I went back to page 139 and nothing and it says "This topic is Locked" what happened? It says August 2014 interview thread. :(

This is so depressing :( I was in my bed all weekend, I could not step out......I want to kill myself, this just isn't fair :( damn Obama and his DACA amnesty.

I am not sure how you can be so optimistic. Considering the countries and religions of our spouses (my wife is a Muslim and I am not) we're probably going to get AP too. I don't know what to do. I feel like death is the only way out :( This country is so cruel.

Husband got the 60 days email and Is upset with me for making him take the legal path. He was all for fiancé visa and not declaring marriage since all his friends did that. It's been 18 months since I saw him. I wish now I had listened to him. His friends applied in July and his wife has been there since March. It's a punishment for wanting to do things right. I have lost my sleep and peace of mind really.

This is what i got this morning...subject line was "national visa center notification'

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.

We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience.

Thanks for your reply... No I still haven't gotten this email. Not sure what to think of that. Was it from the "do-not-reply" address?

No problem! NVC sent out these emails some time last week. I personally am not worrying too much about the e-mail because from reading through the thread there have been cases complete right after getting the email. And yes it was from a 'do not reply' address. I'm hoping for a case complete end of this week, friday will mark 30 business days....

He shoudlnt be upset. This isnt your fault nor is it in your hands. Trust me its better to do things the right way than going for the short cut and problems arising later on. Better to go through alp this processing now because it will pay off in the long run. Besides patience is a virtue :) i think he is just frustrated. Just tell him a few words of motivation and he will be fine :D

Is anyone here waiting for case complete from May???????? Our case number was assigned on APRIL 29! we got 2 checklists that we replied to and they received on June 2! It's August now, like seriously. This is bs!!

Awwww he must really miss you. Same here im the beneficiary and im the one thats frustrated and impatient and my hubby is the one helping me keep my cool :D don't worry all of this will be over with a blink of an eye and we will all look back and laugh at all this nonsense we went thru just to be with our loved ones.

Please take care and hang in there a little longer. It is hard, it is unfair, but you will get there eventually. We are all here for you if you need to talk about it and we can all understand. There will be a light at the end of this LONG tunnel (F)
