I just called again about our IV invoice. Even though my DS-261 was apparently reviewed on Friday, Brielle talked to a supervisor and put me on hold, came back, and said I'd have to wait a few more business days, but that it should come up by the end of the week. I just don't understand. I still suspect we might have been set back by our embassy change, but they didn't mention any new date today. I don't know why the hell you haven't been able to pay yours yet. That's just insane.

Thank you for taking the time to call and report back!

AH! This makes me so excited (although I know it's still frustrating to wait)! Our DS-261 was the same day as yours and I'm DYING to get it this week. I leave for an overdue mental vacation on Tuesday and if I could pay and send my IV package first, I could completely checkout. Has anyone ever seen Office Space, because I will be Petar. I hope it comes sooner than you think!

*On 08/01/14 I received a checklist via email and responded right away. Over a month later, on 09/09/14, I received the hard-copy in the mail. Upon reading the hard-copy, I found that NVC made a mistake and emailed me the wrong checklist. I contacted a supervisor at NVC and she instructed me to write a letter of explanation to accompany my "real" checklist response. She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!

If it is 60 calendar days, I am on 50 by the date on the letter I received. I am starting to wonder I should take a trip to see my wife, who is really heart broken (I know I may seem crazy but you all understand how it is to see your loved one so hurt). Does anyone from the UK have an idea of how long it can take for our interview once you get case closed? Is it massively variable, or reasonably predictable?

I got the email on Friday and called Friday. The email said 60 days but they already processed my AOS package THE DAY BEFORE they sent me the freakin email! And they have yet to review my DS-261 that was received 15 days before my AOS package. They have no clue what is going on. Tucking their tails are trying to hide I believe.

Sorry- back to the point. UK interview is usually 2 months after case complete.

Oh wow, someone else in the 40+ Business Days Since Submitting the DS-261 Club! I hope we all get to make the payment soon and that you get to check out and enjoy your mental vacation. How funny that you mention Office Space. Love that movie. I hope to be like like him, all zen and numb, for maybe a year or so after this visa stuff is all over, haha. Not a bad way to be!

USCIS (Priority date April 1, Approval April 17, no RFEs)

March 28, 2014: I-130 sent via FedEx from Bogotá to Chicago Lockbox

April 1, 2014: Delivered to Chicago Lockbox at 10:29 a.m. according to FedEx tracking; signed for by J. CHYBA (date confirmed by My Case Status)

April 4, 2014: NOA1 e-mail received at 12:17 a.m.; case accepted and routed to CSC for processing. Check cashed.

April 17, 2014: Changed mailing address with USCIS Tier 2 representative. He also confirmed that our case had arrived to the CSC and that our NOA1 date is April 3.

April 18, 2014: NOA2 e-mail received at 12:30 a.m. Case status online changed to post-decision activity; date of "last updated" changed to April 17. Change of address e-mail received at 3 a.m. Status changed back to initial review on e-mail and online. Date of "last updated" now April 18. Called and spoke to two Tier 2 reps; both were useless.

April 21, 2014: Approval confirmed verbally by Tier 2 rep. Order put in to send second NOA2 hard copy to new address. Instructed to ignore online case status.

April 25 or 26, 2014: NOA1 hard copy arrives to old apartment in Bogotá. Priority date actually April 1. (April 3 was the notice date.)

May 16: USCIS change of address e-mail received

May 19: USCIS e-mail received saying a duplicate notice was mailed on this date. Case status now set to "Acceptance."

May 22: NOA2 duplicate hard copy arrives to U.S. address

When can I request an expedite ? I requested one for NVC and I got an email saying my case wasn't on file yet. My i130 was approved 24th July

Anyone else got a checklist for their AOS? I dont know what I did wrong. They are asking for tax and income information but I SENT a transcript of my tax info from 2013 and a letter from my job. I only got two things wrong in the I-864 AOS and I still don't get it. I went to the IRS page and asked for another transcript but this time I clicked that it was for immigration that it was needed. Now this whole process is going to be delayed another month for two minor mistakes great!

Yes, unfortunately. I am glad other people call, I just stalk VJ to get info so I don't have to call as much. It costs an arm and a leg from Serbia! Although I did call last Friday but my DS-261 hadn't been looked at. Although my AOS packet was reviewed (received 15 days AFTER my DS-261) and that night I got a checklist for my AOS packet and DS-261. I am hoping that is a good sign. Today is 61 days for us! Good Lord. I just want to go home!

Good luck and keep us posted! I am desperate for IV fee! I have never wanted to pay a bill so badly.

*On 08/01/14 I received a checklist via email and responded right away. Over a month later, on 09/09/14, I received the hard-copy in the mail. Upon reading the hard-copy, I found that NVC made a mistake and emailed me the wrong checklist. I contacted a supervisor at NVC and she instructed me to write a letter of explanation to accompany my "real" checklist response. She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!

Anyone else got a checklist for their AOS? I dont know what I did wrong. They are asking for tax and income information but I SENT a transcript of my tax info from 2013 and a letter from my job. I only got two things wrong in the I-864 AOS and I still don't get it. I went to the IRS page and asked for another transcript but this time I clicked that it was for immigration that it was needed. Now this whole process is going to be delayed another month for two minor mistakes great!

We got a checklist for AOS, and I sent it this morning. I don't know what that's about. As far as I could tell, I didn't do anything incorrect they just wanted more information. All my banking stuff (even though we have a sponsor because I don't meet the requirements) and new I-864 to attach it to. Weird. Yes, it will delay the process. I am so sorry! I hope it isn't hard to correct on your part.

I concur. Case Complete June 16th, interview date August 29th (I then turned into a turbo bi+ch and our interview was moved to August 6th).

Did you get check listed at some stage? What was your last scan date?

Can you elaborate on the turbo b, part? What did you say? :)

I still want august interview and planning to call embassy as soon as CC.

That's not how it works. You have to wait for a Case Complete, then you need to wait for the Embassy to receive your package. Then you need to complete the medical. Once the Embassy has the completed medical, then you can ask if they have an earlier date. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but August isn't happening for you.

I only went turbo because I was scheduled on the first day of August scheduling and got the last business day of the month.

I am going to call them before I send this out because I am really confused. I was not expecting this, I don't think I did anything wrong either.

This is the only part where is telling me to correct something:

In Part 6. Sponsors Income and Employment, please correct the following...

[x] Item 13.a. You must include your ________2013__________________ tax and income information.

[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) incomme reported on your most recent Federal income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

I got this from the facebook group, MAYBE that explains why some people are over 40business days still waiting for their IV bill, even before NVC started their new 60days emails.

Here is the guy's response to the lady who have been waiting for a very long time for her IV bill:

It's possible that an NVC agent opened your DS-261 to update your info and that reset your date. Supervisor Ike had to open my DS-261 when he unlocked my IV fee invoice. That made my DS-261 "Incomplete" and I had to fill it out again. However, it didn't matter because it was after I got my IV fee invoice.
