Today is the day for any possible upgrade to the system. Will it bring more woes or comfort. will it slow down more and speed up and make the entire application senseful?
Yet to see what is in store.

God only knows, their record with upgrades hasn't been the best so wont hold my breath. Plus I don't know how to do what they are asking for they should have explained how to do it. :( You just can't win with these fools.

~Rather than making comments such as the ones above that could potentially land you in hot water with VJ Moderation (something I personally hope can be avoided) there is an option to ignore a user where you won't see their posts. If you do not know how to use the ignore feature, send me a PM and I will tell you how to use it.~

Hi everyone, Saylin and NLR,

I do not know if this question has been asked or not but I need your advice badly, my husband was a student with part time jobs in 2011 as stated in Tax transcripts, my question is: do I have to explain and mention in cover letter why my husband had $3800.00 income during that year? or leave it as it is just include the Tax transcripts 2011 without any explanation?

thank you, I will be logging in tonight to see all your replies.

Yey! Finally! me and my wife kept on asking each other if the IV bill invoiced already? received any mail or what not. Thank God we are moving forward on the step! I don't have too much knowledge to help answer each question here but i'm praying for all of us here that each of us move forward of step soon. Now just waiting for reply of the packages to be reviewed.

Well, thank you and God bless you and congratulations, I'll be praying your case is a smooth and quick one also. :) (F)(L)(F)

I think considering how long everything is taking if anyone's thing is on the way to be shipped to NVC, I would ship my copies of AOS and IV package prior to being requested to i can take a head start and get in line. Yes, without cover page but that is just me!!! I would put my USCIS # on the cover page until you get your case #!!!

I think this is a really bad idea. It takes a lot of time and effort gathering the information for the AOS and IV packets, and without an NVC case number to tie them to, you're basically sending them into the void, along with all your time and effort. The NVC has been known to lose even those documents that come with the right cover sheets. It just seems like a massive waste of time, since the likelihood of them losing the documents is so high.

A better bet is to read Saylin's wiki thoroughly several times and follow her and the NVC's instructions.

I have been reading around and still haven't seen the answer to my question. Please if anybody has the answer, share and shed the light on the issue. My current income is well above the P.G. Last year tax return, which is the only transcript I'm planning to send off, is well above the P.G as well. However, the 2011 is way bellow that guideline. That year I was still going to school and I made only 13,000.00. Do I have to send the transcript for all 3 years or only the 2013's?

I see so many people ask similar question but no one really answered that.

Can some one please take the talking stick? I'm all ears. :)

I am happy to see that you able to sent both packets and fees in one time..

I have recently send my AOS package, I was also confused. By calling NVC in multiple occasions and asking questions here in VJ, I think as long as you can make over the PL last year and going to make over this year, you will be fine.

But then again, I am not an expert, you should also call NVC or Waite for someone else to reply your question.

Personally, I will never ever try that with NVC because am sure the package might be thrown in the bin or get lost without any trace. NVC will never scan your package without a case number and I would never ever risk sending all my originals to NVC without a case number or have you forgotten you are sending originals in your IV package??? If your documents get lost, there's nothing you can do than to resend them again.

Anyway you can go ahead if you are not in a rush to be with your spouse. I don't really understand your timeline.

I pray we all get thru this process as soon as possible.

I only sent in my 2013 tax returns since my 2011 income was also low; I didn't have a job for the full year so only made close to $20k. They sent me a checklist only for not filling out the AOS completely but they accepted all of my other documents and never asked for me to submit the other tax returns, so I believe you will be alright by only sending in the 2013 tax returns.

In my opinion, you don't even need to include the 2011 tax transcript. Just send in the most recent one with the pay stubs for this year. I sent my 2013 one with the last 4 more recent pay stubs and also a letter from my employer stating my job position and salary for the year. They accepted it. My 2011 income was low as well and I did not include the transcript for that year.
