No, that's not okay. As per the supporting evidence requirements for Affidavit of support I-134, your petitioner MUST provide either 2013 tax transcript, or 1040 + w2. On the day of your interview you will not be approved until you provide these.

You do not need originals mailed for these, they can be scanned and emailed to you then printed out as photocopies.

Hello my petitioner said that the process has now changed. And sent me this

Hope you can see the attachment.

The process has not changed, it's the same. You will see reading these forums that people are getting a 221g for not submitting a recent tax transcript or recent 1040 + w2. You must provide these along with paystubs/letter from employer/bank letter.

That attachment does say submit duplicates of evidence, one letter from his employer is not enough.

You're welcome! Remember to include proof of your current income in the form of a letter from your employer or the most recent paystubs.

Thank I will, I am going to show as much as possible, W2, Stubs and a letter from my employer stating my current salary, place of business and how long I have been with the company..

Hello, is it okay if i will not bring my petitioner's w2 and 1049 during the interview. I will bring the bank statement instead and also his pay stubs, because he dont want to send any papers with vital infirmation. Hes afraid of theft identity. Please help

Please read the instructions for your consulate. Manila has them online and they state everything required for the interview, including the financials >

k. EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form with original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134.

My wife attempted to give the CO my transcript and they didn't want that. Weird! The Transcript is supposed to be a "stand alone" document from the IRS. It seems that the folks at the USEM don't know what it is. Thankfully, I told my wife to take the 1040 and W2s with her. All they look at is the income on the 2013 return. So, not to worry...simply provide your 1040 and W2s. If you were self-employed, that's a different issue! Otherwise, you're good to go with a 1040 and W2s from 2013. Run with that and you'll be ok.

A transcript is not available for the year you have requested. ''This is what is says as we speak''..

Hi,

I had this same exact message when i went to download my transcripts. None of mine were available actually. I called IRS and the person on the phone said that this happens a lot because the online system is picky and she said "let me fix it for you"

I checked couple days later and they were online and i was able to download them.

Hope this helps.

Hope you can see the attachment.

That instructions page means nothing in regards to what the embassy requires. The embassy instructions letter is what you need to follow with that form, which clearly state - most recent tax return and W-2.

You would do best at this point in your visa process to ask your questions on the Philippines forum as they will relate to USEM

I concur with the above assessment .....no 1040 for 2013...is a big problem.

I had no income because of my tax free status...my 2013 IRS document #1040 read $0, but it was submitted along with my public safety retirements documents and my VA award reflecting their nontaxable income status, yes I sent documents and a cover letter ...passed no problem in the Philippines. Get your 2013 taxes
