What happens if I130 is approved before I129f?

I think i am approved...cus i saw my status online and it said, "approval notice sent"

i have also filed for I129f.......that is not approved yet?

WHAT HAPPENS NOW?........do i have to wait for I129f to be approved? or will they still transfer my case to NVC?

Congratulations!! The same thing happened to me - I'm well into the NVC process, and still don't have my I129F approved. Unless your I129F is approved later today & they decide to retain your I130 it should be forwarded to NVC shortly.

Immigrant visa numbers are immediately available for the spouses of US citizens.

I'm not sure I understand your question... you don't need the I129F at all - it's totally optional and won't have any impact on the processing of the I130 at the NVC.

You must be a citizen to have filed the I129F, so there is no waiting for a visa number at all.

Your I130 should arrive at the NVC in 2 to 4 weeks, just keep calling to check. (Unless, as I said, your I129F is approved today and your I130 is approved.)

oh my gosh..............should i really feel happy about this.............I STILL CANT BELIEVE IT.

now are there are still chances for my I129f to be denied......(just wondering)......or does it mean....they are just going to pursue my I130.
