Oath Letter Question

Ok had my interview and passed it (like everyone else with 100% on the civics) and in my case unfortunatly as I knew it was the case, my interview was schedualed a week too early as my 3 years as a landed immigrant wasn't up until the next week. So because of this they said they couldn't swear me in that day and I'd have to wait for the oath letter etc.

Now I had read on some other boards, people have been waiting a long time for this oath letter etc. Does anyone have experience with this type of situation? How long they've waited for it? How I can check my status or if they've send it out etc at all? I'd hate to not get the letter and find out that I missed the ceremony...

I had to wait for 6 month for the oath ceremony. My interview was on July'06, I passed the test but I had to be finger printed again. I tried to call INS, every month, same answer, we had to wait for the letter. It was a long wait for me, I just did the oath today. Everybody has different time of wait, depends on the case I guess. Good luck.

hi mostly depends on the office you are filling your n-400 i filed in omaha nebraska and 5 weeks after my interview i got my oath ceremony.
