Good morning..i just got off the phone with NVC and they told me to wait for 30 days so they can review my packages.. its been almost 14 months in thhis process almost there.. im on my 11th & and counting !! i asked why is it raking so long she said that lately a lot of petitions !!

I suggest you follow the NVC filers JULY 2014 thread. This thread got me through my NVC Journey.

Last year the NVC was processing faster but now since the USCIS has been processing cases in 5 months, the NVC is now horribly backlogged. Study signatures and the NVC spread sheet located in the signature of the first post on that thread. ( Saylin)

We just went to our interview a week ago but its not over... We still need to file a waiver....( its getting sent this week by our attorney) The waivers have been getting processed much faster these days. Hopefully only another 4 months to wait.. Last year they were being processed at around 8 months... We are hoping to be together by Christmas.... Cross your fingers for me.

june 2014 NVC received
march 2 2015 sent aos and iv package
march 8 i emailed nvc request to expedite my case
march 13 approved expedite request
march 17 in transit status in CEAC
march 19 case file at US embassy
march 23 first day of medical at Slec
march 29 personal evaluation...passed!
April 6 immunization
april 13 interview at USEM. under Administrative Processing Reason; Medical result was still not forwarded by SLEC.
After my interview i called SLEC they told me they forwarded it at USEM same day of my interview.
July 29 I emailed SLEC to confirm again when did they forwarded my Medical Result at USEM. They replied...forwarded April 13.
July 30 status update date change FINALLY.
September 2015 went in US embassy to withdraw my passport coz I've waited for how many months and no approval yet. Only to find out my case file has been sitting in the corner ...no one reviewed my medical result. to make the story short, I took medical again for the second time , then after a my medical result released, I have my visa on my hands.

November 7, 2015 SSN
December 2015... 10 year green card arrived
December 2015 Driver's license issued..yay! <p>

When I first read all your post you started on this I thought you were at NVC 14 months :cry: . You just got there 18 days ago. You still have about another 2 to 3 months at NVC hang in there. :goofy:

The NVC thread is different than the I-130 thread. It changes every month and you just move to the next one as long as you are still at the NVC. The NVC thread really is a great place to hang out. You really get a great idea of where you stand by following the progress of others. If you only arrived at the NVC 18 days ago, You are a July NVC filer. But after reading your timeline.... I see that it is incorrect. You state your I-130 was approved in December 2013 and received at the NVC July 2014 but you paid your bills in June 2014... Country is Armenia which is the default. Please update your timeline so others can help you

OK, then you are originally a March NVC filer but you can follow the NVC thread every month until you get a CC. Then move on to the interview thread and wait for your interview. There is an interview spreadsheet that will give you an idea how long it takes to get an interview in the DR.

Then why does your timeline say 7/3/14 you arrived at NVC? It took your petition from NOA2 to NVC 7 months? I am confused now. People go by what you post and your timeline seems a bit off. Regardless I can see its still been a long time.

Get use to 30 days for everything at NVC. Now is the time to pour over your forms and documents and make sure everything is perfect and accurate. A mistake will get you check-listed and delayed even worst. Yes another 30 days.

im soo sorry is that i didnt know how to do the time line... july 3rd 2014 is when i sent my IV and AOS to NVC and my scan date was july 8th 2014... and yea im hoping for no checklist.. everything was accurate... thanks for the help =)
