Was hoping to know if anyone else in Jamaica were going through the same thing. I applied for courier service a month before the interview, after the interview the ceac status said A.P. then ISSUED. Myhusband got a call from the embassy, private # and the rep asked where should the passport be sent? What is csc for then? After my husband status remained ready, no waybill #. The 703 and 876 # to check the status of your visa have no info. I email kingston and they email me a week and a half later saying its in A.P.?!?! SO I CHECK THE CEAC SITE AND IT GOES BACK TO READY.... My husband gets a call this week saying he can pick up his visa this thursday from the embassy after its printed on Wednesday..... the rep said he will call back on Thursday....its saturday,....no call no info.... I dont know what to do, I keep calling the embassy uscis nvc the 703, 876 visa line and dhl nothing ?????

I definitely feel your frustration. I wish I could be of some help. They definitely don't make getting a visa in Jamaica easy. It's unfortunate that most of trust promises made by others. Had your husband known the struggles, he could have asked the rep for a number to call back or even asked if he could come pick it up Thursday and what's a good time to be there?

I hope we aren't caught in a similar situation. Keep us all posted

I always tell him ask for a name but he isnt listening, and its pissing me off 1,975 phone calls to jamaica.....and unsuccessful. Im tired of it, I want to contact Porsha Miller because this isnt corridinated at all. It cant say issued but then i get a email saying its in a.p.!!!! Thats diagusting. The front desk operator at the embassy only get paid to sit there....sending emails dont mean nothing at all....they dont read anything properly just send you a shabby message. I want to know who is the head officer of whatever of distributing visas in Jamaica? This is horrible

Portia has nothing or no say in the operations of the USA procedures,

Jamaica they say is backlooged, many are waiting and CEAC is not

always correct.

One will need their name at the gate to get in or a appointment letter

emailed to them, or no entrance.

The Embassy staff aren't allowed to give out names unless its regarding

a specific case & reason

Keep checking DHL online, and remember NO ONE, senator , atty, or Portia

can rush or get a person out of AP & they can take as long as they want

This is crazy, so I dont know why the embassy is calling him telling him that when its printed to bring Identification to the embassy itself when there are pick up locations....That makes my husband and I look crazy.... So the conclusion to this whole thing is they can work at their pace, keep calling my husband and saying his visa will be printed and available..... OK HUMBLE PIE TIME

You're right! They don't actually read the whole message and answer every question in an email. What I did one day, is section it off. I explained in the beginning that I keep sending emails and not getting answers. Then I numbered each question. Although I don't recall getting the exact answer for each question, I got a much better response than previous emails
