Ours were approved last July 9. But upon reading from the USCIS site which I have attached an image below, it says that it was only sent last July 15. I guess we will start calling the NVC next week. It would not hurt, right? Hoping to get a slot for the interview by the month of October.

When should I fill out and send the DS160?

Is the case id from that form refers to the Manila case number?

Thank you.

If things are still backed up it could take longer then a week or so to get your MNL # (case number) from NVC. But for sure no harm in contacting them.

You can complete the DS-160 anytime, remember when finished and submitted to print a copy of the confirmation.

There is info in my link below, follow the flashing arrow

Why would you call the NVC? For your MNL #? Yes calk them if you have not received your NOA containing your MNL. Once you have it then its time to rock and roll. See Hank's handy dandy need to follow instructions. It's a little early for your DS-160, so wait till your closer to the appointment.

Congrats on the NOA 2! :dancing: It may take 2 - 5 weeks for NVC to process your files and assign a MNL case number, but you can definitely give them a call after 10 business from when you received your NOA 2 hard copy: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/nvc/nvc-contact-information.html

I would wait until getting an interview date to worry about DS-160. But you can definitely get a headstart and check the example form here to know the information needed in filling it out: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/DS-160-Example-Form.pdf

All the best!
