I received a checklist this week, I immediately called NVC and I was told that the checklist was false. I then called back a few hours later and told by another representative that it is a true checklist. I was soooooo confused and frustrated. I then made a third call the next day and the rep. Said that the checklist was again true. The last page specified that I needed to submit my 2013 Tax Statement which I did initially send however a page was missing. Today I dropped off the information to FEDEX for next day delivery. Please always get a second opinion when calling NVC. When in doubt I believe you should send it out. Good luck.

recently I received the same email from NVC. I called and they said to ignore it if I had mailed the 864 package. Two days later I called NVC and they told me they had the 864 information in the computer and not to send another copy. I would wait a couple of days before I sent another copy, It may save you some money.

Please resend whatever NVC asks for, I got the same thing and we have resent it even while we sent all the papers they claimed missing, sometimes the cheklists is another thing you need to take care of during your Interview I take it as a reminder of what to keep intact before interview, I hope this helps and good luck.

if it's a detailed checklist, then your advice makes sense.

otherwise, I'd tell folk to suss out a false checklist and completely ignore your advice.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I would take no chances, send what was asked for, IT cannot hurt!

Actually it can delay a case complete and interview assignment by a month or more. So yes it can hurt.

Good thing you guys called to confirm. Just re-sending the documents would have not have helped because obviously there were mistakes that need to be fixed first. Read the detailed checklist, and send them exactly what they're asking for. What mistakes are they asking for and what page is missing?

Well good you called. Make sure he includes all 9 pages. many people are forgetting page 9 which is about a preparer. You still have to include even if you didn't use a prepare to fill out the forms.

Glad you just didn't resend. If in doubt to anyone CALL NVC!!
