Great news for you. This is where a senator or representative can really help you, as they can contact people who can actually do something. Us little people only get to talk with people that can do nothing. Get a good senator or representative to look into things for you, and its amazing how fast things can happen. We had a good one too, when my wife's green card fell behind the published processing time.

hi guys, the ones who follow my story and those who don't.....fiance and i got approved for the k1 visa april 18th, so 3 months ago, havent heard anything bout our case since then.

after all the frustration and sadness and anger with dealing with the uscis and nvc, constantly calling them, not knowing what is going on with our case....we, just yesterday, contacted fiance's state senator and a representative. we sent them a letter explaning everything and asking to help us. and today.....a lady from this senator's office called my fiance and said for him to sign a privacy release thing and email it to them and that they will find out bout our petition today....so he emailed it to them and about an hour ago she called back and said they contacted the uscis and found that our petition has been sent to the records center......(like so many people here told me) and that they commanded it to be send off to the nvc and that we should hear back from the nvc within a week. so....i really really hope it will get to the nvc within a week and does not stay there for AP....after all we've been thru....i hope it just gets sent off to Warsaw embassy and i go to the interview soon!!! i cant believe this senator/senator's office staff responded this quickly AND CALLED, twice, found this out within a day while we couldnt do that for 3 MONTHS NOW. bless these people. it's sad tho that the uscis and nvc didnt tell us anything but the authority person calls and it gets figured out....but im glad and i just want to thank u all for all the help.

I am currently going tru the exact same ting u had experience my case was approved on may 31 and my husband has called NVC and they are telling us that they have not received our case from USCIS after nearly 2months. they told us to scan and email it to them which we have and we have yet to receive and response from them I am just so sick of these ppl every time we call all we get is a run a round an no one can give any answer all we keep hearing is that we should wait

Some folks in USCIS just find it difficult to get off their ### and truly help people. I guess they never really appreciate the strain these unnecessary delays have on relationships. They've seen so many petitions that they have virtually become desensitized. I'm happy your Senator was able to get you some great news. Hang in there...

Outstanding news!

Very happy for you guys.

Additional good news: The process at Warszawa is quite simple and relatively fast. When we had our interview, it took about 10 minutes from end to end. Other couples had reportd similar times.

Glad to hear that the advice we gave you worked out. My fiance and I are very excited to see your guys Journey.

You advised them to just wait and do nothing. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/503598-can-the-petition-be-gone-for-good/?p=7104007

The process has changed some from the time we were in the queue. Used to be that could do it in about 6 weeks if you could take advantage of the timing of scheduling interviews, which happened around the 22-26 of the month for next month. Not longer the case.

On the co-sponsors, I do not know. But if it's for the I-134, is not as critical; what would be important is the I-864 when you do AOS, and for that co-sponsors are possible.

Also, at the time (you need to check their web site) it was possible to call the Embassy for info, at no cost; we did so a few times. All times, the personnel were very helpful and nice. Notice the a K-1 is considered an immigrant visa

From : http://poland.usembassy.gov/poland/contact_plu.html

Telephone Immigrant Visa Information – Warsaw

+(48) (22) 625 10 42 Monday through Friday, between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. This operator assisted information is unavailable on American and Polish public holidays

I just took a look at the web site it has changed considerable. I'd suggest navigate thru it and gather the info you need. on the process.

Good luck. I'm sure within 6 months you'll be stateside and happy.

Thank you!!!! I'll check this all out. I am hoping it will be sooner than 6 months :D. Hoping it reaches the NVC this coming week and then gets beginning of next month and that my interview will be soon as well, we've waited long enough...:)
