1040 tax returns help!

So im reading the pdf for things to bring to the interview and i just noticed that embassy doesnt accept telefile tax returns.I understand filing thru turbotax is one of them right?Correct me if im wrong.My husband has been using it for years and my interview is on friday.What should we do?Im in a panic mode.Thanks a lot

Now on irs website guess hubby can get the transcript right away?I would not sleep til i get it.Lol

Get the transcripts from the IRS. Immediate download for free from their website. I sent those plus my Turbotax telefile returns plus photocopy fo W-2 to my fiance, and it flew just fine.

Your TurboTax printed tax return is fine. Getting transcripts from the IRS is precious.

Printing out the return from Tubotax is fine, that is what I did. However, make sure you sign the printed-out tax document, even though you e-filed. The CO accepted mine without any problems and they were from Turbox and signed.

Mine were signed too. Just make sure a 1040 is backed up with a W-2. 1040 alone is a problem as anyone can get a blank form and fill in their own numbers.

Ours isnt signed (ballpoint) but we have the w2s and 1099s.He will send me the transcripts of the past three years too.Thanks a lot guys

Only need the most recent tax transcribe (2013), not 3 years.

Cant believe the transcript is only two pages.Lol For my peace of mind,I let him send me the last 3.Tell me stressing out few days before the interview is normal.Haha Btw Hank,hubby lives in AZ too and loves motorcycles.

Yes you want the "return transcript" for 2013.
