IS THERE ANY 5YRS OLD THAT GOT DENIED?

Im just so worried because my daughter is only 5yrs old and have nobody to take care of her here in Philippines incase she gets denied..is there any possibility she gets denied on her interview? Shes an illegitimate child, has my family name and my husband petitioned my daughter.

as long as she is biologically yours and has no illness that prevents immigration she should have no issues.

Not as long as she is your child, passed her medical and you have the requirements listed in the embassy instructions letter. The CO will ask her some simple questions at the interview but nothing that would be a "deal breaker".

Thank you guys for the reply!. now i feel better...She passed her medical at st lukes yesterday. Thank God she has no problems.. and regarding her birthcertificate, im her biologocal mother, she has my family name, her biologocal father's name was not on her BC and i wasnt maried with him either...

Hiedy and Derek were at St' Luke's yesterday also !!

Derek is the same situation as your daughter. They passed everything and were told there wil no problem immigrating because dad not listed on the BC and she has full custody.

She was petitioned as a step-child. Her surname as an illegitimate doesn't matter. What matters is you married your USC hubby before your daughter's 18th birthday.

What matters is acquiring the visa before the 21st birthday, not getting married before her 18th birthday

Acquiring the visa before the 21st BD is good but not good enough to satisfy USCIS. They must be in country before turning 21 or they are considered age out.
