They took the appt letter with the slec stamp. I would call and ask slec if it's ok to go to the interview without it because they instructed me after I got the results to bring that page with me to the interview.

I didn't check the stamps on my passport but they typically put a simple slec stamp on the appt letter 1st page and write the date on it

i dont have a letter with slec stamp either. maybe a passport with their stamp i guess.

and what r the original copies u submitted to NVC?

I got stamps on my passport but I didn't check how many they were.

Not all the stuff listed on the embassy instructions were asked from me but it's good to bring all of them anyway. I brought 2x2 photos with me and they didnt ask for them, they actually gave back id photos that my husband submitted tothem lol

The embassy didn't take the 2X2 photos because SLEC collected them already and forwarded them to the embassy. We brought more 2X2 photos also and still have them.

Slec didn't take all my photos either. I think they just took 2 copies when they asked to bring 4. In any case, always good to have extra 2x2 photos on hand.

Follow the embassy instructions letter as to what to bring to the interview, use it for your checklist.

I would get a new NBI, they don't want the "personal" copy.

They accepted my personal copy, the official copy was submitted to NVC.

Follow the instructions and prepare all the documents as they are asked for on the Embassy letter. Sure some folks will be asked for the item and others may not. But do you really want to risk that you are the one who gets asked for that one document that "Susie" said you didn't need? I smell a 221(g) letter or possible denial causing a delay by ignoring the requested documents from USEM.

Is this what you want? I don't think so. Give the CO what they asked for and you will have no problems. Follow the Embassy Letter.
