Does anybody have experience how far in advance they are scheduling interviews? Should I travel with my extension or will I have any problems? Leaving for Greece on the 13th returning 23rd and I am afraid that they send an interview appointment and I am going to miss it!!! Should I better get a stamp in my passport or is it ok with the letter?
Thank you so much in advance!

Go with the letter and expired GC. Why are you expecting an interview?

If you get an interview they will give about one month's notice.

You would get an RFE before you get an interview, though.

Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Sorry i really don't mean to sound rude but i really feel your panicking for no reason. You should be find traveling. If there were issues they won't issues those letters in the first place. Also you being paranoid about missing your interview letters or RFE letters, They normally give you 6 to 8 weeks notice from the time they issue the interview letter so i am sure even if you take your 10 day trip, it won't result in you missing the interview.

I know it earlier to say this when your already approved but i always felt if your a genuine couple there is nothing to worry about and your will eventually be successful. But i really hope you get your approval soon.

P.S. - Again i don't mean to be rude but i have seen you panicking for last 2 months over your application. Just relax and enjoy your holiday.

Just want to chip in. I didn't receive any RFE and got my interview appointment on the end of this month.

My point is you'll never know. But other posters are right, they'll usually give you a month or more notice for both biometric and interview.
