I just got my IV invoice a few min ago! What a relief, thank God.

Question for others, how soon after the email does the portal let you pay.

For Pakistan, can anyone please confirm the documents needed.

I am sending off the following:

a. Original Marriage Certificate

b. Original Birth Certificate of Beneficiary

c. Colored copy of passport

d. 2 passport size pictures

e. PCC

That's all I could find, reading Saylin's wiki and the NVC site. Can anyone please let me know if I am missing anything?

just got a checklist goes like this:

"We received your Immigrant Visa Application; however, we have not received an Affidavit of Support

My husband sent the marriage certificate issued by nadra, nikah nama and its english translation, 2 photos, passport copy, police certificate and his birth certificate.all originals. N now we r jus hoping we dont get any checklist about the documents..

Yes becz I got the checklist regarding AOS too and I already submitted when I called NVC they said we din't review yet and not in the system ,so syatem genterated checklist.

They just scanned the package but they dont know what is in the package...

what exactly is the issue? is nvc giving you hard time?

I filed as HOH since my mom lives with me. NVC hasnt told me anything about my supporting documents having issues.

NVC doesn't care about filing status, it's the officer at the interview that may care.

Filing HOH is one of the three acceptable statuses while married (as long as you qualify for it), so you're fine ;)

Anybody who got a number in June get their AOS fee bill invoiced recently?

I received my NOA2 on May 20th, found out (by calling) that my case # was assigned on June 20th. I was not able to log in and fill out the DS-261 until July 7th (at night) Even then, the AOS bil was not invoiced. I received the email with the invoice on Tuesday July 8th and I couldn't actually pay the AOS fee until today.

So, if my timeline is any indication, you should be able to get on CEAC soon! I would def check every day. Good luck!

NOA 1: 12/9/13

NOA 2: 5/20/14

yup. i'm not worried. I dont know why people are freaking out. My accountant told me not to file as married since my wife isnt here yet and i can't really claim her since she isnt here. It'd kind of be wrong to claim money back from government when she isnt here.

well... at least i bought his story. :P
