When emailing NVC, how do I arrange the subject header so it is forwarded to a supervisor? Will "Attn: Supervisor" followed by my case number work, or do I need to specify a supervisor's name?

When you call for an update, you might very well hear that there are more than one packages waiting to be reviewed. They will tell you that you won't get a CC until all mail is reviewed... I need some help here, tell me if this makes any sense.

We completed DS-261 on July 9. Website shows it being completed. I call NVC today and representative confirms that website shows it being completed but it is not being received at NVC yet (this does not make any sense to me, it is done online how long it takes to receive it, what do they receive).

Earlier today we received another email from NVCinquiry about DS-261 that needs to be completed. The same email we received on July 9, when we did our DS-261. Representative told me that this email is just a reminder since it was not received yet.

Then I asked to talk to supervisor - he told me that they received the (DS-261) data but it will not show up in the system (why is it not showing up in the system), and of course, it takes 30 business days to be processed.

Does all this make any sense, I'm afraid that I'll have to complete this form again and will reset may time, which I do not want to do!!!!

Thanks LoveMyTico you know, I thought it was weird when my husband called a couple of weeks ago and they said they had two mail pieces from us, one on June 15/16th and another on June 19th. I knew one was the AOS, but what was the other?

However, looking at my sent box, I didn't send any emails to them on or anywhere around the dates the agent mentioned so maybe someone is sending things while masquerading as us

I have been emailing once a week so far for the past couple of weeks, but when my husband or I have called, they didn't mention any mail pieces. Maybe they got annoyed and blacklisted our email addresses lol.

I just called NVC and found out that they approved my AOS package yesterday!

Well, I didn't receive a false checklist so it looks like some people receive false checklists while others don't.

I'm now waiting for them to review my IV package and DS-260. I'll just have to wait until Sept 5th (my 30th business day).

I hope I don't get a checklist on my IV package. I reviewed it so many times! Fingers crossed!

Called today. CASE COMPLETE! Last doc scan date is June 19. I wonder how long it has been taking to get interview dates scheduled. Hoping for a Sept. date but the wife thinks October. I will look back through threads, but if anyone knows what the latest trend is, please reply. Thanks

i also had a checklist delivered on 16th june and scanned on 20th. Have you called within last few days? i think you should call!

Thanks Amanda! According to your signature, your revised AOS arrived at NVC on June 16th.

Let's say it took them 4 days to scan your document, so your scan date is June 20th. Then, you add 30 business days from June 20th.... and your 30th business day is August 4th (since July 4th was a holiday)!

They may be able to review your document faster since it's a checklist document (instead of a package). Fingers crossed for a CC!

I emailed them twice. I sent the first email over a month ago. I haven't received any replies.

I have a feeling that they "accidentally" deleted my emails or "forgot" to reply to my emails.

I am expecting DS 261 and AOS fee invoice available early next week. I have a question for people who have went through this before:

I have recently got a little bump in my salary, now when I will fill in I864EZ, I will write in my current salary as of today, correct?

However, there will be discrepancies in the pay stubs the most recent one and from previous months? Can I just send employment verification letter which contains my most recent salary or pay stubs are mandatory as well along with I864EZ? (I am petitioner)

For my AOS, all I sent was my employment verification letter, no pay stubs because mine are formatted really strangely. AOS was approved, no checklist, no problem. I would suggest just sending your employment verification letter so as not to confuse the *special* NVC doc reviewers. They can't handle much beyond 1+1=2. Or is it 6... they're never quite sure.

CC..the NVC agent said it got completed today...after calling NVC i checked to see if AOS fee changed to N/A or not n it surely changed to N/A...thank God...this stage is over

We got no real checklist..thanks to saylins wiki...and thanks to all the VJ members for keep us updated..if i hadnt found VJ, i wouldve gone crazy with all this wait thinking that something was wrong with our case..but im glad everything happend with in a timely manner as compared to many people i see here...

Hang in there n hang around VJ, it surely helps to see that u r not the only one waiting...

I know... I help people fix their accounting software all day long, so I try to stay away from math when I get home. But I just found myself googling binary, and then octal and hexadecimal converters.....

I seriously wish I had something better to do with my time....
